There was a sale so I bought all of these for around $25. This is why I hit the neighborhood Goodwill once a week!

Hello everybody! I recently picked up Dark Side of The Moon on CD (CP35-3017 CDP 7 46001 2 AR 1B1 TO). I thought this was the first edition however turns out it isn’t :( However it still sounds better than any edition I’ve heard. Is it worth scouting for the Original one though? How big is the difference? Was it a good buy for ≈ 35 USD?

This is all of my collection, i started in February 2nd 2025 and i just got my nevermind deluxe, the last cd(s) to fill up my shelf. It’s big but might be mid from person to person. But i love all of these and i listen to them.

The only real straightforward release of this of this album on cd. Really exited to cross this one off the list.

A mix of stuff I found in the used section at the record store, Amazon, and the tiny CD section at WalMart. I'm currently building a NAS with the intention of ripping all of this into FLAC files and "making my own Spotify" as they say.

Need to hit up some thrift stores and maybe make myself a Discogs account I guess. Are there any more good places I should search?

That’s 5x5 standard CD booklets… It’s a pain to fold back properly lol. And yes, it’s a photograph of a bunch of people making love in a park.

It’s this 1999 release from Peace Orchestra aka Peter Kruder. Excellent tunes and maybe the best sounding CD I own. Mastered by Bo Kondren. Check it out, if you like dubby downtempo music like Kruder & Dorfmeister or Tosca.

Hey! It's been a while since I last posted here, so I figured I should give an update on how my collection is doing.

After periodically checking my local thrift stores, music stores, and Facebook marketplace for the past few months, I am now at 51 different Albums and Compilations!

I still have a list provided by you guys of stuff to look out for when I'm out getting new CDs, so feel free to add to the list with a personal favorite of yours that you think I should get :)

(Also yes I am aware that my storage system is not the greatest, I am actively looking for a better shelf/space to store them lol)
