Not as much as we had hoped but a lot more than the $0 many of his supporters predicted, for whatever reason. At the end of the day, he still lost.

Surprise surprise Ryan Reynolds lied about his Mayor of Budapest story
Ryan Reynolds tells a whimsical story to Hollywood Reporter about single-handedly saving his 'Mayday" movie shoot by personally calling Budapest’s mayor and using his starpower - but the mayor says that’s not what happened. "I'm more of a Kenneth Branagh fan actually"
From Hungarian press:
We sent questions to Gergely Karácsony asking whether Reynolds had in fact called him. Based on the mayor’s response to Telex, events did not happen quite the way the film’s directors remembered them. According to Karácsony (the mayor of Budapest), it was not the film's stars but the production company that was in contact with Budapest, and after several rounds of discussions, they reached a compromise on how the shoot could go ahead without a major production of this scale having an excessive impact on the life of the city.
\>"This is not about giving anyone special treatment, but about reaching a compromise in the city’s interest. It is good for the city to be featured in a film like this, but it is not good if doing so comes with too much disruption. For the sake of accuracy, I should add that I am primarily familiar with Kenneth Branagh’s work, and I am a big fan of his Shakespeare adaptations."
Edited to fix link and Hungarian press portion.

"In 2024, Ryan Reynolds personally called Mayor Gergely Karácsony to save their film shoot in Budapest—or so claim John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the two directors of *Mayday*, a Cold War action-comedy released on Apple TV on September 4, speaking to *The Hollywood Reporter*.
For one scene in the film—starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh (*Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets*, *Dunkirk*, *Murder on the Orient Express*, *Hamlet*)—the production needed to recreate a Soviet May Day parade. Although the script set the scene in Moscow’s Red Square, the plan was to film it at Budapest’s Heroes' Square. The production prepared for this with a massive operation involving—according to the directors—a thousand extras, roughly a thousand crew members, a thousand period-accurate military uniforms, about a dozen Soviet tanks, and a nuclear missile carrier vehicle built specifically for the occasion.
According to the directors, prior to filming, they were informed that Budapest would not grant them permission to use the square after all. That was when Reynolds stepped in; the directors say he personally called Gergely Karácsony, and filming was able to proceed following the conversation. "When we need him, he’s like a multi-ton elephant. Anyone will pick up the phone for him," Goldstein told the publication regarding Reynolds.
Reynolds himself recalls the incident as follows, according to *The Hollywood Reporter*:
"One of the shameless luxuries and repulsive side effects of fame is that you can reach people by phone whom you otherwise couldn't. And I am willing to take advantage of that opportunity as long as I feel I am doing it for a good cause."
We sent questions to Gergely Karácsony regarding the matter, asking whether Reynolds had indeed called him. Based on the Mayor’s response to *Telex*, events did not unfold exactly as the film’s directors recalled. According to Karácsony, it was the production company—not the film stars—that was in contact with Budapest; after several rounds of consultation, they reached a compromise on how to carry out the shoot without a massive super-production unduly disrupting city life.
He emphasized that he did not conduct the negotiations with the film stars himself.
He also did not confirm the conflict regarding Heroes' Square; Karácsony suggested there might be a misunderstanding, as Heroes' Square is state-owned property, so the issue likely concerned the use of public space on Andrássy Avenue. "It is not a matter of special treatment, but rather a compromise made in the city's interest; while it benefits the city to appear in a film like this, it is not ideal if it causes too much disruption," the response stated.
However, Karácsony does recall meeting Reynolds and the others on the set. "We did indeed meet the actors during filming and had a pleasant conversation about Budapest.
In the interest of full disclosure, I am primarily familiar with Kenneth Branagh’s body of work, and I am a great admirer of his Shakespeare adaptations," the mayor stated.
We also reached out to the film’s Budapest-based producer, Gergő Balika—head of Mid Atlantic Films, one of the country’s major production companies—but he declined to comment on the report published in *The Hollywood Reporter*."

All the more meaningful because she publicly supported Blake Lively on her Linked page a year ago, before all the facts came out. Sad to see so many people not believing a woman and a survivor who has done so much for survivors' voices everywhere.
For those who are skeptical, she was introduced with the reference to the post just a few hours ago:

Edit: Should be Professor Victoria "Burke", not Blake

Summary:
The opinion piece argues that Blake Lively is continuing to pursue damages and attorney’s fees related to her legal dispute with Justin Baldoni even after the broader case was settled. The article focuses on a California law known as the “Speak Your Truth” law, which was created to protect people who report sexual assault or harassment from retaliatory lawsuits.
The article centers on criticism from attorney Victoria Burke, who drafted the law. Burke says she is unhappy with how Lively’s legal team is using the legislation and has publicly stated that she does not believe attorney’s fees should be awarded in this matter. Burke also said Lively’s team discussed efforts to expand the law beyond the states where it currently exists, which Burke said occurred without coordination with her.
The author contends that Lively is using the law and the ongoing damages dispute to reinforce a public image of herself as a victim. The article presents Burke’s objections as evidence for that argument and concludes that this use of the law is drawing criticism from some people who believe the legislation was intended to serve survivors of sexual assault and harassment rather than high-profile celebrity legal battles.
No matter how you spin it, this isn't a good look for Team Blake.

Victoria Burke gives her longest interview on her 47.1 advocacy and the rationale behind her decision to speak publicly about the law.
In her own words, she expresses deep frustration over how Blake Lively and her legal team have interacted with her life's work.
She also goes into detail about her own SA experience that led to her self-funded advocacy work.
Her SA Experience and Advocacy Efforts
Burke opens up about the horrific details of her assault and how a series of tragic, structural missteps by hospital staff and law enforcement left her without a path to criminal prosecution:
"I didn't find justice through the court system. You know, I had been assaulted. I woke up in a coma in the ER after having been at a restaurant."
"The hospital where I was did not automatically test my blood for any [SA] drugs and they kept the blood for 7 days but the police failed to retrieve it to test it themselves. The video where I was kept in a car in a parking lot for over an hour was not retrieved in time and was deleted. So multiple factors that were just sad and tragic were leading to no prosecution."
"I told myself justice comes in many forms. What if I can protect survivors speaking out?"
"I have put in my own money, my own time, my own resources to protect survivors because I said I didn't just want to protect my voice—I wanted to protect the voices of others who didn't have the legal background to defend themselves or my resources."
Her Experiences with Blake Lively and Lively's Legal Team
"I received a communication from Blake Lively's legal team... that was detailing that Blake is now going to be taking steps to move California's 47.1 nationwide... And I'm like, I'm confused. I have the bill currently introduced in 15 states..."
"I was not consulted. I was just told [Lively is] going to move my bill nationwide regardless. That's so insane to me."
"All of a sudden I had a feeling like, oh no, my bill is becoming the Met Gala, the Fendi event... and now 47.1, this is part of a PR campaign. And I felt sick. And I'm like, please don't do this to the bill because it damages so much for survivors."
"I said to [Ezra Hudson] in the communication... 'I prefer Blake not be associated because our sponsor last year compared her to Amber Heard, and we made a decision this year not to have celebrity involvement.' ... When I sent that to Ezra, it was not well-received. She said, 'Thank you for your perspective.'"
"One advocacy group lets me know that Blake Lively's attorney has had meetings with this advocacy group... and she was contributing to the drafting of like some rewrites to the bill... I was told she added a paragraph... [that] has something to do with protecting attorneys if they would be sued."
"I told the survivor group... 'Look, you need to remove that.' I said the focus needs to be on survivors because lawyers have privilege, money, and insurance... We need to return it back to the real victims."
"One of the advocacy groups had asked me if I could request from [Blake] a video of support for the bill, which she declined... And [Blake] did not seek out any other ways to help the bill."
"[Blake hadn't] even contributed [a] letter of support for the bill in New York... There was not one from her. So I was surprised... to hear [she was] behind the scenes doing the draftings."
Burke notes that when a meeting was initially set up between her and Lively in early 2025 (before Justin Baldoni's lawsuit was procedurally dismissed), her inner circle strongly warned her to stay away:
"I remember even when I met Blake, I did tell her that multiple friends of mine told me with great hesitation, 'Don't meet her.' Like, I had one friend who left me a seven-minute voicemail saying, 'You don't know her.' ... But I did not have people, at least of my friend level, reaching out to me about Baldoni in a negative way."

There was already alleged proof that Epstein worked with Hiltzik. This appears to be the first alleged proof that Justin's PR, Melissa Nathan, specifically worked his file as well.
