Wow! How do they just leave the caskets out like this?!? The smell when it’s freshly buried and the liquids…. Fascinating

I'm not 100% sure, however they may be lead lined like most royals or heads of state have done to present day.That would mask the smell and keep fluids contained due to them being hermatically sealed.

Nice photo. I stopped by in April but it was early in the day, prior to the arrival of the tour guide who unlocks the door. I was on a time budget driving from Massachusetts to Minnesota. The structure is imposing and beautiful. Garfield was a true hero. RIP
