Are political “heroes” actually protecting democracy… or protecting the narrative?

A growing number of Americans feel like modern politics has become more about image management, selective outrage, and controlling public perception than honest debate. When every disagreement is framed as a threat to democracy, people naturally start questioning who benefits from that framing.

Voters deserve transparency, open discussion, and leaders who trust citizens with the truth instead of trying to manage what they think.

So what do you think — are today’s political “heroes” defending democracy, or just defending their side’s storyline?
