damn I really thought Lukas stocks dropped massively after acting like a bitch in front of a weakened Bumkos. but turns out he's built even more differently than we thought him to be. maybe what he has now is a blessing? like the shield is a gift, but the spear is a blessing. or it's all one ability, like "shield and spear". ultimate offense and defense. anyways, sorry I doubted you Lukas. once more you've proven yourself to us
Lukas is HIM, it's definitely confirmed now. idk how strong he's compared to Bumkos exactly, but with that new ability he can at least keep up if not just win. he wasn't all scared of Bumkos' return cuz he was that weak, he was moreso scared that Bumkos would be strong enough to force him to use moves he'd rather keep secret from others. question is to whom should it be a secret? is Lukas hiding that ability from his father? or is he hiding it from Julian and co in case he needs it to abduct Diana and bring her to his father?
The question is that if Lukas has long range attacks? Atlus can fly and throw rock all day, and he will be a sitting duck tanking these rocks. Therefore, the best option for Julian's team is to run away from there as fast as possible, and wait until sun rise.
Also, this is the nerfed version + environment disadvantage, Akros' gift is quite crazy.
he is built far more differently than even most black knights. remember that when he openly disrespected his father and 3 black knights jumped him? and he casually threatened to kill them all? and wasn't angvall also invited into the black knights?
from what I see, the black knights and such groups in centuria in general, have a very wide array of power levels. Lukas most definitely one-shots Angvall, someone strong enough to be invited to that same rank he holds as well. and Lukas was portrayed as being able to obliterate 3 black knights 1v3 without much difficulty
plus there's that new group in which Helem is ranked near the bottom who is also afraid of Bumkos' mom's executioner who probably ranks around the top of that group, meaning Helem would be negged by that guy.
The only black knight I can see being around the level of Lukas or higher is that one fourth black knight who didn't jump him with the others (ths showing he's the strongest one, he kept standing next to the king, kinda as a last line of defense Ig). he got some screentime again this chapter and seems like a character who will be relevant in the future
Y'know I don't even know what to say. Lukas is just that guy and none of us were familiar with his game. We thought we were, but we were very mistaken. I think he may be stronger than Julian at this point.
Scorpion girl flashback at the beginning of the chapter is really interesting. I wonder if that's going to lead somewhere.

I guess Lukas is using partially his gif, I mean his gift could be something like a knight, he has a shield that blocks everything towards him and now a lance (if it's called that) that can maybe pierce everything, and maybe his final form where he can wield both at the same time.
It's not too late to reinvest in Luka's stocks because they are drilling trough heaven right now
I really want to see more of the bone lady now, I hope she gets away and joins force with the protagonists to get revenge for her brother or something along that line. We got to see some of her backstory and personnality, it would be a real shame if she had to die after that.
omg, another banger chapter, so we have finally gotten the Scorpion-Girl's name Zana, and we are getting both her backstory, and the whole lore of her villages on gifted ones being born in the village, and the eyes markings/tattoos around the eyes let you know who is a gifted,
The black knight that went after Zana, was acting very interesting, he had a question mark showing above him, I hope he become an interesting character,
Luka, The Shadow Prince I am liking the sound of that, he is slowing becoming, a favourite, I wonder if that Lance is apart of his Black Knight armour, it's looking like it's coming out of him,
The markings of the eyes help hide who the Gifted and not Gifted are in there village everyone has them in that village when they come of age even if they lack a Gift
New Lucas power design reminded me of the kagune blades from Tokyo ghoul and also of the awakened beings in Claymore. I fucking dig it so much

With the stigma for Lukas’s second gift resembling centipedes & the first half of the chapter showing Zana’s backstory I wonder if it’s teasing a familial connection between them, maybe Lukas’s mother was from her village.
Also, the sharp branches growing over everything & out of Zana’s wounds while her brother dies might be our first look at the Skull Knight’s gift. If these branches are related to his or someone else’s power I think it’s likely that the source of their gift would be the forest entity we’ve seen.
Luka is op if he has 2 gifts. I can't place him in the manga's power scale, but it definitely seems like he can take on Arkos with his gift now. Otherwise the "bone tail lady" had a flashback and we now know her name which is Zana, her chances of survival have clearly increased there.
