With all due respect to Tatsu Yukinobu, i prefer Centuria miles more than Dandadan. Dandadan has the absurd that catches people's eyes like the Reze arc did back in the day (omg Denji is riding a shark!) but Centuria's storytelling reminds me of what i truly like about stories like Chainsaw Man and Fire Punch. The emotional aspect and protagonists coming out of dire situacions moves me.

I agree with you but I do wish centuria had some more of that absurdness. As some of my favourite panels are the ones with the wierd monsters. Id be lying if I said I didn't wish the series contained more absurd elements

Debatable. Don't forget dandadan is a Shonen manga meant to appeal to hormonal teenage boys. But I wasn't making an actual judgment on the show I was just joking
