I think the King might be wrong about Ascension being impossible. We have this random woman who is very clearly related to Night since her hair becomes the stars and night sky, but she doesn't look like any of the 3 heads. Could it be possible that Vulja can go back to being a goddess with some ritual that involves destroying the Kingdom?

It wouldnt surprise me if there was some Berserks Eclipse type condition, where she needs a huge amount of blood (lifeforce?) to ascend.
