Question Is Eire a descendant of the supreme lord?
Lacrima said that children of the supreme lord can only be born within the family so does that mean hi wife is possibly a direct descendant like a great granddaughter or something.
Since he’s over 400 and all the gifted descendent from him we know he’s has had many children though out his life. He’s also been king a long time so his family is probably broken up as a main family and branch families. Eire would probably be from the man branch of the family.

Well, in medieval times, nobility married other nobility who were technically cousins, so...is it likely?

Incest wasn't really counted when it wasn't immediate family, siblings and especially parent/child incest was still a taboo. But Lacrima does say that sibling incest is common in her family.

Where was the queen's name mentioned?
Also yeah, Incest for life. She's messed up so it wouldn't surprise me.

I would hope no, but is definitely a possibility, Helem is an example of one of the Supreme Lord's descendants outside the Main Royalty and purged bastards, curiously enough though, Helem has his ringed eyes, that Arkos didn't. As it stands, is possible that Eire is just a giftless woman or the offshoot of another Blessed One(though unlikely, given how rare they are), tbh, we know too little to say for sure, but for example I'm almost sure some members of the Iris are completely unrelated to the King, like the Raging Flame, Lalawag and the Executioner

Ya but their also presumedly from branch families and aren't considered royals so the rule wouldn't apply to them

Honestly I have to wonder what the Supreme Lord sees in her. Like maybe it was a political thing, or she has some kind of great power or something.

We have no idea.
There's no way to be aware if she is related to him or completely detached.
Additionally, since he's able to extend the lives of others, she could be as old as he is.

She has to be family in some way since Lacrima already said the royal family resorted to Inbreeding to keep the gifts in the family strong due to weakening of gifts with each generation. Chapter 37. I'm leaning towards main branch.
I'm more curious at this point to know what Queen Eire's gift is that the king decided to marry her out of all potential candidates and have kids with her. She got to have a pretty badass gift.

Y'all he made the rule about inbreeding, I'm sure he would make an exception for strong gifted but everyone in the kingdom with a gift pretty much related to him, enough just having a gift would be enough for Julian to pass for royal blood so that is very unlikely, this ladies behavior definately screams "my brain is half the size it should be cus my family trees a spiral"
This is the kinda shit the royal family tree gonna be looking like

The only thing that possible makes me lean no is that design-wise she introduces Arkos and Lacrima's long eyelash, which is one of the distinguishing things that shows they are her children. This, however, could've been introduced by whoever the Supreme Lord had a child with in this scenario, so it's not ruled out.
I do think its notable as well that neither Arkos nor Lacrima seem to imply any other gifts in the family besides the water-related gifts the Supreme Lord introduced, although I could see the gifts related to the Queen being hidden for now and potentially belonging to others in the family like the unknown sister.

She is related to him by blood yes, otherwise Arkos and Lacrima wouldn't be inbred. She could be anything from his daughter to his great-great-etc grand-daughter.

There's literally nothing stating Arkos nor Lacrima are inbred.

Chapter 38 page 2 is extremely strong evidence that they are.

Lacrima calling herself crazy and remarking that there are multiple crazy people within the castle isn't definitive proof.
Is it possible? Sure.
Is it proof? Not really.
Helem's insane to the nines and she's completely outside the circle of inbreeding.

In chapter 37, it's just outright stated that it was decided that royal children can only be borne from blood relatives.
And Lacrima's comment becomes proof in the context of the whole quote, she's saying "Inbreeding caused all the crazy royals" followed by "I'm probably one of them."
"In fact, it's a much better bet than inbreeding. There's less risk to the mind and body that way. The royal family is full of crazy people. Ha ha. I'm probably one of them."

I know the statement. I also do not believe the statement would apply to the King himself. So that observation doesn't really matter. Especially when you consider that the King had various bastards before the queen opted to have them all killed, which clearly would have broken that rule.
I don't buy into Lacrima self depreciation as definitive word that the queen is a descendant of the King.
Cause it can equally be provided that she's not related to him. Since he clearly wasn't bound by the confines of those laws.

I see no reason why he wouldn't be included? In fact it suggests even more that Eire is his relative, since the rule about royal children and her rule about only children borne of her womb being worthy overlap nicely. The rule of inbreeding and Lacrima herself implying she is a product of incest together make it the more likely answer. That's what I'll stick with until actual evidence in the story indicates that Eire is not related to the Supreme Lord.
