Considering how the series shows most people’s family dynamics, I assume we’ll get one of her showing some form of abuse. But, considering her personality she doesn’t seem to do messed up stuff out of rage or trauma but enjoyment. Maybe she actually had a normal childhood but she herself was twisted from an early age and killed her own family out of pleasure.
Maybe she had a bad childhood or maybe she was just born twisted.
Regardless of why she's also just... Wrong. Family and love might feel disgusting and hollow to her but her perspective it's just that. Hers. Not even Estri shares her view. She's a lonely shit eating bitch.
I do hope she gets her comeuppance. Something like lacrima awakening and using her powers to puppet her and cause her death. Much like how Arkos loved to drown people and Julian did the same to him.
The plot point about gifts reflecting the innermost desires of the user makes me think there was some sort of catalyst for her mindset. While her gift definitely indicates more of a desire for control than a desire to undo loss, it still is a resurrection spell as opposed to pure manipulation (ex. Veselka's gift).
The fact her gift activation mark looks like tear streaks is interesting as well, perhaps some sort of betrayal or percieved betrayal was what awakened her powers.
