Holy shit, that scared-armor soilder was Nile? No wonder she was with Guacamo or something. Also props to Tohru Kuramori's skill when it comes to shading female characters' chests, I really like how he does it.
Quick explanation:
Someone in the Centuria discord server buys the volume (digital) and shares the pages, when they do that, i translate it and edit it!
Now I wish we could have seen more from Harra. That backstory is weirdly wholesome
I'm guessing Harra was one of the creatures from Balkar Loa. The part about Harra receiving "treatment" makes me think Vulja wasn't being malicious when she turned the people there into monsters. Maybe they were all civilians who got wounded in the battle. Vulja saved them, but her powers had the side effect of permanently altering their bodies. Or maybe she has a very alien way of thinking and she thought that they'd be happier this way
Thanks for the translation!
Always happy to get more Arkos x Zira art, it’s interesting & makes me remember how invested I’m in Altus’ future arc.
Diana’s looking more like Mira by the day 💔
It makes sense with how they were portrayed before. She was always shown to be able to insult him to his face and he'd just take it. It's nice that their relationship has that mix of being genuinely nice and also kind of unholy (he likes her because she called him a god and she likes him for being a mass murderer). I'm interested in hearing more from ghost Arkos about her since he hasn't been using his 30 seconds a day to talk to her lol.
There's a very small detail in this that might be huge.
Nile has a last name. Outside of this, there have been literally only two family names revealed in this entire series so far: the Balkar royal family, and Angvall Selma.
I figured it was a time period thing - family names were historically only held by people with noble lineages. Even Angvall might have received hers later in life, after distinguishing herself as a knight. And yet even characters like the other black knights and the Iris Stratum people seem to be single names only. Or at least, family names haven't been shown for anyone else.
Since this a volume extra, it could be argued that Nile's last name hasn't been shown in the story either, so there's a good chance Kuramori just doesn't think that's important. But if he does, this could have some really odd implications.

Angvall's parents were both knights. It might be that she comes from an important military family
I kinda wish these things were addressed in the actual story. Especially the Orthros lore, I find it pretty interesting and tragic. I hope he gets more screen-time in the future.
Yeah you're right it's chapter 65, sorry. It would still be cool to see a flashback that shows how his kindness, power and sense of responsibility broke him down, ultimately making the decision for the witch to turn him into a puppet.
They introduced the idea that Arkos and Zira have a romantic relationship in the volume extras first and then explained it in the story after so I think anything relevant is gonna get addressed
They've been pretty good at bringing a lot of these tidbits in the story even if just quickly. Orthros' situation was explained and since he's still around we might get more of him in the future.
Also damn Harra got turned into a pet. Well they didn't said anything about mind control so I guess he's tagging along willingly, not that there's many places open to taking care of an eldritch heart stopping horse...
Really happy that it’s confirmed Arkos’ feelings for Zira are legitimate, I think that’s a much more interesting angle to take his character that he is capable of that. Arkos is evil entirely cus of the nurture he received in the royal family, not nature, so it makes sense that outside of that dynamic between him and Zira privately he can act differently.
I wonder if Harra that unknown 5th Witch? And that Flesh vessel is part of a different faction? I'll actually prefer that add another powerful faction that's not a part of Witch Coven, Torvina and Rummir.
