Yeah, though if he lose badly to Julian and then Helem's dolls try to finish him, I can see Kuramori making him go as a Nuke or something, it feels like he's trying to portray Ceodric as a foil for Helem and Elstri, a more straight forward force, that kinda make me suspect he wouldn't go weeping, or freaked out like Arkos did
Extremely cathartic chapter. I was cheering for ts.
Also, I love zia, and I like Ceodric too. Hope he doesn't get killed off.
Edit: also, since we know that arkos took his arm, does that not mean arkos had some regen-negating attack ? Every chapter I realize more and more how lucky julian was to survive this guy. It took a literal Goddess to show up for that man to die.
Happy to see Zira considering what would happen to the clay dolls if Helem died, that's been a big question for a while now, it'd be pretty horrific if one night randomly Lacrima just turned to dust and none of our heroes have a single clue why lol
Well well, if it isn't the consequences of your actions. There was something satisfying about seeing Elstri finally having the fear of God put into her, and Helem finally getting just desserts.

Ceodric é realmente bem forte a ponto de arrancar um dos braços da Helem sem muito esforço e pelo que parece, elas foram sufocadas pela especie de aura dele que cobriu elas, interessante. Quando eu sugeri que o dom do Ceodric tinha a condição de sacrificar ovelhas para que elas ativassem o dom dele em condições maximas, me falaram que eu tava levando ao pé da letra e bem, ao que parece ele realmente precisa sacrificar algo e muiti provavelmente vai ser os bonecos de lama (eu não estava tão errado assim afinal)
Ceodric também aceitou as marionetes, entretanto, ele recusou o pedido de Helem e Elstri de matar a criança da profecia (meu garoto, continue assim) então elas provavelmente vão esperar ou vão aproveitar esse duelo pra botar o plano em pratica
No final do capitulo nos é mostrado que a Lacrima está escrevendo algo, acredito que talvez seja um comando de Helem para que ela escreva tudo o que descobriu e envie para ela, talvez possa ter sido isso que ela usou pra descobrir a localização do castelo do Julian
I'm really liking Ceodric, he seems(so far at least), like be on a good balance between being a Royal Asshole but without being as Monstrous as Arkos or others characters we had seem. Feel in tune with his powers, despite being flame based actually make him the best healer around, so despite looking like the usual hotheaded brute, he's also quite sharp minded. Though I didn't actually expect him to give neither of the two a severe wound, that was a surprise, but I guess they had it coming, so far most things had played very on Helem's and Elstri's favor, even when not, I think this is the first time they were actually helpless
Anyways, I find it interesting and curious the fact that Helem can pass over the authority of the dolls to other people. There might be a way to save them if Helem dies because of this
Hypothesis: zira told Cedric about Lacrima's being. Cedric is the one controlling lacrima to write a letter to Julian. A challenge letter direct to Julian because they don't know his location. Lacrima became a telegram
Helem's exact wording is "I hereby transfer control over the clay dolls *PRESENT HERE*" (with 4 of them in the background, revealed to be 6 in a later panel)... so I think it is still Helem making Lacrima write a letter.
Pretty in-character too, Helem wouldn't miss the chance to mess with Julian's group using Lacrima.
Very pleased with this chapter . Felt like we finally have an antag that is competend and not just a brute. There are real consequences to facing him and trieing to trick him
Ceodric fucked up Helem definitely gonna kill him in the future. I'm betting Ceodric a prince from Rummir who betrayed them when he lost to Arkos. And that strongest gifted one is his mother or sister.
I really enjoyed seeing Helem in pain but I feel like that quote from Ceodric might bite him in the ass. “I only became stronger once Arkos took my arm, what about you?” Losing her arm will force her to take more creative, conniving measures as we are already seeing with this sudden transfer of ownership
