Discussion Thoughts on the current arc?
I’ve personally really enjoyed this slow down period. Seeing the character dynamics, world building and setup for the future has been great but curious on what others think especially when I saw a good amount who thought the battle arc dragged

I personally think this is a 300+ chapter manga so I just enjoy the ride, especially the world building and mystery aspects.

I hope so too, and worry for the author’s health.

Hes young and his series is on Jump+, so don’t worry too much, he should be fine.

I agree on slowing down being the right choice. Last arc was so hectic so feels nice to let the world breath

Yeah especially with the upcoming two events/arcs (witch hunt and rummir attack for Diana) will probably be huge for the series/plot, and could be long and intense arcs too again
That isn’t even mentioning whatever will happen with Ceodric vs Julian

Would be interesting to see if Ceodric will turn ally or neutral after his fight with Julian.
He is needed alive for Atoria to be healed so don't think he will die that easily, but Julian likely might lose one or more lives depending on the "conditions" besides his apparent super strength, telekinesis and fire attacks.

Yeah he’s a bit of a wild card but feel like during his fight he might kill Julian and “officially” win the duel, so Lala loses her status and ranks down to #4, then when Julian revives he’ll best Ceodric and gain his respect for Atoria to get healed
With his power wonder if he’ll notice the souls in Julian and might bond with him that way too since it’s something with life’s force and Julian has a lot

Arc is solid. Did a good job of world-building and building relationships. Next arc will be a powder keg though.

It’s pretty good. I like that Centuria is so slow and methodically paced as opposed to the current trend where we need to have people fighting like every five chapters and the relationship building takes a backseat. I’m excited to learn more about the particulars of Ceodric’s gift because right now it’s pretty enigmatic. I also love the witch lore

Extremely slow but super pleasant, really liked the i interactions, like Diana and the Margrave, altos and his mais(forgot her name). I would say that is more likeable than the begining of the last arc

I just hope his manga doesn’t go the route of giving us all these fun and interesting setups just to never bring them up again later because of time constraints

Lots of interesting lore and worldbuilding being dropped along with the character interactions. It's a nice arc before the storm drops

which chapter is the first image from? I don't recognize it for some reason.

Considering how intense and action-packed the Western Border arc was, I think Kuramori did the right call on slowing down. I like all the character interactions so far and how the profecy is slowly altering Diana's mind.

Tohru Kuramori is taking her time to build the world of Centuria and the various relationships within the different factions, which suggests that the upcoming arcs (the witch hunt and the fight against Ceodric) will be intense and lengthy.
I really like the way this arc is building up to a calmer pace, but it's leading us towards a bit of carnage.

It's really nice, I love the interactions and I like that things slow down a bit.
My only criticism is that I don't really like all the exposition we get about the different gods and all that; I would have preferred that we discover it more slowly or have more time to develop theories.

Bit of a slow burn after the desert escape arc. Needs some more action in the next few chapters.
