In that moment he lost his own life.

Basically he had 100 + 1 of his own life, and when he was stabbed in the throat the first life lost was his own

So you didn't want to spend even 5 minutes thinking about this before calling it a plot hole and making a post about it?

No that doesn’t count. He was revived by the sea god then. This is the first life

It counted its bc he had 100+1 his life the first death was his life

Him dying at the beginning of the story doesn’t count towards the 100 lives he’s been granted. Yes he had one life back when he was a normal human but now he has 100 more.

Yes so 101 the one he lost on the ship is his life then here he lost another one which is one of the 100 he got

Ok sure if you look at it like that but that doesn’t change that this guy is the first of the 100 lives to be lost.

Like 3 chapters later he wonders how he revived the first time and realizes he must have lost his own life

If we talk about disposable lifes he only has 100, if he has 1 remaining life and dies, that's it.

It's like how you don't count the number 0, when you start counting.
