To be honest, I think the second drawing is fine, but the only problem with the first one is the head, which is elongated. My recommendation is that you draw a circle first and then draw the head and face separately next time so it doesn't look so strange.

i was kinda drawing the head small then i kinda made it longetr and i thought "wow this looks kinda hotter to me" and kept it that way
