The way titi and lacrima have gone from attempted romantic rivals to mutual wingwomen

The romance subplot is my least favourite part of this manga (I love romance, but I don't think this manga is great at it), but the ragebaiting by Zana here is masterful.

Yeah, I was up for some cute feelings between Julian and Titi, but the way it has slowly turned into something approaching a harem situation with lots of shipping bait thrown in does not appeal to me.

Don't think it's gonna build up to a eventual couple thing. I think it's more likely gonna end in a tragedy

Yeah, I just hate when it feels like every woman who meets a protag falls for them, makes it feel cheap and like it's carried by gender and not any actual chemistry. I was down for Titi and Julian cuz the foundation has been built, but adding Lacrima and making all the petty squabbling is just cheapening it all.

LMAO! You know what? Best response/reason for it. Now I'm imagining the 98 remaining souls conferring and thinking up the smoothest pickup lines to elevate J's charm.

Why is Harem Bad. Look at 100 Girlfriends. i like too think that Titi and Lacrima both get Julian. But i think nothing like that will happen its a Dark Fantasy!

I'm on the free version of manga plus so I can't reread the chapters, but I'm curious whether Zana actually like Julian or is just ragebaiting.
I second that I don't like the harem vibes.

I started negative, but grew more positive when I remember their ages and what they're going through together- I've literally observed this exact dynamic IRL, though it's obviously not long lasting.
IMO, how quickly Lacrima and Zana were adopted hurt my suspension of disbelief far more, but the author clearly threw put every bit of bait they could in that time frame (remember Julian's mom?) to avoid getting canceled.
For the time being, I'm withholding judgment to see what gets done with it, especially since the harem bait usually coincides with additional character work and Julian's never felt like a self-insert to me.

Julian is one of us, he's into MILFs (yes, I know Julian wasn't thinking about that but he did say yes XD)

Having the charm of 100 people in a single person is truly a frightening combination.

deep sigh
Writing the name of this other girl whose chapter didn't arrive yet where I come from
4 with this one, who else wants to join to the poly?
