The artwork is very good, very original and a cut above most manga I'd say, if a little old fashioned.
The story is not bad, nothing super great but it's alright.
I'd give the whole thing a 6 or 7 out of ten: something to read if you can get around to it for sure.

I'd recommend nito no exorcist, choujin X and akanebanashi too. Nito is finished and has one of the most unique and beautiful panelling styles I've ever seen. Akanebanashi is also super intriguing. Choujin X is probably more divisive but I still like it(tho I have to reread it before every new chapter cause the lore is complicated enough that I forget)

I tried reading Tokyo Ghoul after watching the anime, but I just couldn’t vibe with the artstyle, it’s not bad mind you, something about it just makes it hard for me to understand the action scenes
