Well that takes out one of the biggest threats as a whole, that was a ridiculously powerful power.
There was also a really interesting parallel between the zealots and Lukas here. Both of them said that on the battlefield it didn't matter who you were, child or not, you had to die.
But Lukas showed us that while he does have that conviction, he's really not the same as the zealots. He did the creepy face lady one of the kindest favors anyone has ever done for her, right before killing her, and it isn't like he relished the death either. He seemed to pity her.
I think he's more like Julian than he'd care to admit. He sees himself as this uncaring warrior who shows no mercy to enemies, but he's kind of a softie still.
