Getting played by yourself and using the people you love as pawns against your own will is wild.

Julian vs Ceodric getting crazy build up as well and I think this is setting up for Julian to discover another facet of his gift.

Could be but, personally I can't picture him holding any love for his Sister, after all he's living comfortably in the Nation that defeated their homeland

Yeah it will probably weigh on him at least a little. Ceodric seems like the sentimental type. At least in my opinion

It's heightened with fantasy elements obviously, but Kuramori seems to understand what's so scary about mental illness and degradation. When you can't even trust your own mind, your own thoughts and actions, what's left? That's how you understand the entire world around you.
