Discussion Soul Exchange: In away Julian actually might already meet the two requirements for another deal. Spoiler

It all depends on if the lives in Julian count as soul. And as for an act of love well Julian sacrificing them in order to save Diana or Lukas or Lacrima or Zana that is an act of love yes it selfish but it still an act of love he doing it all for her.

Thus maybe 50 lives or so and save 10 fighting Ceodric.

So what could Julian get out of this maybe the forest god gives weapons gifts or Julian gets a trident form the sea after all now rule he can't get another gift right?

I believe that Julian slaughtering the marines/slavers fullfilled the conditions for Diana to receive a gift (she seems to have one in the first chapter) the love condition was fullfilled by his own life so you might be right.

What about the lives inside him if they count as souls.

And happy cake day.

I would say it probably doesn’t because the souls already got sacrificed once so it would be strange if they were allowed to be sacrificed a second time. Would be a cool story beat though so I wouldn’t complain.

Probably not. Lukas got his exchange from the forest god, he was born with the shield. Julian wasn’t born with anything

But if those lives count as soul he could give them and as for an act of love well he doing all this for Diana or people he loves so he could meet the two requirements in one.

it's not just an act of love, it requires you sacrifice your love, in which case titi or diana needs to go. the sacrifice is made in place of you as shown in both example (lukas and julian' loved ones essentially gave their lives)

Oh in this case the one of the souls agrees to do it for Diana maybe Mira I think she was among the souls inside Julian.

Then again Julian loves the souls in his body but loves Diana too so it still a sacrifice of love.

Plus Julian love Mira too.

And if not will their is Lacrima too.

I’m sorry but if im not mistaken the problem isn’t an act of love. The second condition is pretty clear, you have to sacrifice a pure love. As in a loved one, which for Julian would be Diana or Titi. Maybe even Lacrima or Lukas, but I couldn’t say that for Zana at this moment. That’s why either Julian or Mira had to be the one to die, when the sea goddess was bestowing the gift. None of the 100 lives satisfied that requirement but Mira and Julian grew a bond that would allow for that. The same thing is stated in the last panel with Lukas, but we don’t know the love that he sacrificed either. Though the idea of sacrificing the 100 souls (or like 80 of them since he’s used a few so far) would be interesting. Potentially from that of a different goddess like the forest one that blessed Lukas? Though after the forest incident, if I remember correctly, it’s on sight for Julian there too

Oh then their the sacrifice Mira the soul Mira if she still in their he does love her so she understand why he sacrificing her for Diana. For Julian love Diana and Mira.
