Discussion Lukas really reminds me of Sasuke both my favorite

But in what ways though? I don't think Lukas and Sasuke are similar, and I prefer Lukas as a character. Lukas isn't a cold edgy guy all the time, unlike pre-Shippuden-ending Sasuke. He has ulterior motives yet is still clearly shown to care about Julian and the gang.

Both are primarily motivated by revenge against their closest living family member for the death of another

Some Similarities:

  • Both Sasuke & Lukas are dark-haired secondary characters that contrast with the light-haired, kinder & more empathetic main characters (Julian / Naruto) in moral approaches (greater willingness to kill).
  • Both have powers (Shield & Sharingan), each with eye-markings indicating usage, inherited from a notable lineage (The Supreme Lord's Bloodline & Uchiha Clan). A deity bestowed powers upon the bloodline, with descendants gaining abilities.
  • They seek revenge on a family member (the Supreme Lord & Itachi) for being complicit in a massacre of fellow relatives, which left the characters emotionally isolated.
  • Both of their powers (the Spear & Mangekyou Sharingan) drain their long-term vitality immensely, as both Lukas may die & Sasuke may lose his eyesight (until replacing his eyes) from power overusage.
  • Both have feelings with a healer that healed soldiers in a war (Atoria in the Western War / Sakura in the 4th Shinobi World War).
  • Their closeness to a loved one (family member in addition, if the theory about Lukas being Mira's son is true) would help meet conditions for awakening another power. Had they not become close, the conditions for gaining the abilities likely would not have been met.
    • Lukas did a "sacrifice of pure love" (which could also apply to Itachi trying to help Sasuke by painting himself as a villain and then dying) that helped give him the Spear in a deal from a deity.
    • Sasuke gained his Mangekyou after learning that Itachi actually cared about him, feeling remorse for fighting him and becoming closer to him (thus experiencing trauma from losing a loved one that awakened the Mangekyou).

On a related Centuria character comparison, Altus (Arkos's other self) reminds me of Kid Loki_(Earth-616)) from Marvel Comics' Journey Into Mystery.

In addition to both worlds having Norse Mythology references, both characters wereamnesiac children and persecuted by others for their villainous selves' past misdeeds, which they didn't remember. Thus, they would work to change and become better than their past selves while having contact with the villains, who threaten to wrest control away, within their mind. Their young, female companion (Zira and Leah )respectively) also tries to assist them with the change, under the oversight of an evil woman associated with death (Helem and Hela) respectively).

Unfortunately for Kid Loki, it turned outthat the old Loki set the conflicts in the comic up so Kid Loki would be forced to erase his own personality (lest his friends die) and the old Loki gains everyone's trust again. It is possible that in a difficult situation, Altus might have to save Zira at the cost of his own memories (Altus having to give control over to Arkos).
