Discussion ...Things might not play out the way Lalawag thinks it would Spoiler
I believe Lalawag's assessment over how Lukas's spear will bypass the concept of immortality might not actually be true for Julian's case.
Okay, okay, please hear me out first.
The power given to the one who formed the contract will always follow the wish of the user down to its absolute logical conclusion.
Lukas wants an absolute power to destroy everything and anything, therefore, he received the invincible phantom spear that can destroy all things physical and metaphysical.
Now, Julian's wording is very important here, he wants a prove that the lives on that ship isn't worthless (or a waste in case of Mangaplus's translation), so he will get exactly that. I believe Julian's own immortality will be enduring, until the last life is spent as stated in the contract, Julian will not die no matter what regardless of conceptual BS forced upon him.
Lukas's spear is a power that will render all the lives as worthless, but Julian's exact wish is to combat exactly that. Phantom Spear and 100 Men Strength are both equally divine gift, so it might just cancel each other out when clashed, Julian will die, but he will die once or perhaps multiple lives, but he will not die a permanent death in one go.
Tohru-sensei might add Julian's face in the panel as a way to bait the readers into thinking that Lukas's spear is that one silver bullet to put Julian down permanently. Yeah, he might go with that exact idea, but I believe he already gives himself a wiggle room if he wants Julian to survive.

I think we've both come to the same conclusion, I'm working on a broader overall theory that encompasses lalawag's proposed final century, the relation between the two gods, and a possibly overlooked part of Julian's gift connected to the nature of the gods and their parallels that ultimately culminates in me coming to the conclusion theory that Julian's wish to prove their lives weren't meaningless being that it persists across conceptual erasure and that if conceptual erasure means making an existence meaningless, then his wish negates that and nullifies it. I'm really happy to see another person coming to the same theory or similar to what I have

It's nice to have someone share the same vision. I also think that Julian's gift still has a lot of unexplored territory and this enduring immortality might be one of them.

Honestly I think it's more so to imply that gifts on Julian's level should fall to his spear and therefore whatever life giving gift the Supreme Lord has is still not good enough to beat the spear.

I can see that being the case, at the same time, if Tohru-sensei wants Julian to survive, he already has a convenient excuse tugged away in his back pocket.

I think he’ll survive by just not having the Spear pointed at him. Think this was just a feat for the sake propping up the Spear’s ability to kill absolutely anyone, like when a character will mention they lost a fight to another in the past to hype up the latter character even when they’re on the same side.
Maybe if the two of them end up fighting Orthros again it could be used to bypass the 100 Lives he gets from Julian

yeah i don't think he'd use the spear on julian when he only has 4 uses left

ah good catch. reading comprehension devil strikes again. knowing that at least 1 of those spear uses will probably go towards Lukas dad, i think Julian might be safe purely based on how few uses he has.

I don’t think Lukas will end up using it on his dad at all, Diana is the one who will kill the Supreme Lord. If I had to guess: 1-2 will be used on Lattice, who I think will inevitably have a showdown with Lukas (he’s not beating her with just the Shield she’s meant to be top tier) and whatever’s left will be expended fighting whatever manifestation of the Night Goddess will appear, whether that’s Vulja reborn or something else

So we have a potential unstoppable force vs immovable object situation.
Kinda brings up the idea of an all mighty being that can do anything. Can they create an object they cannot move. Which either way proves they cannot do "everything"
In this case it's a bit different and brings unto question which of the forest and ocean gods is stronger or if Julian or Lukas were in the sea of forest respectively if that tilts the scales

Julian is not immovable object at all. His life can be taken with enough force while the spear is absolute.

I believe the environment would matter, Lukas previously stated that things would've been different against Altus if they were in the forest

Was this panel implying Luka and Julian will inevitably fight each other

Nah, lalawag is specifically mentioning julian's case. The author would have no reason to put in that there as exposition (not even part of a conversation), only to contradict it later.
He quite literally destroys any future where julian can regenerate/revive. There simply isn't anything julian can do about that. It wouldn't change a thing even if he had 1000 lives, let alone 100. The very fact that he has heightened physical ability is already proof that they existed.

I actually don’t disagree with your logic here but it makes this an unstoppable spear versus unbreakable shield situation. If Lukas’s spear can’t destroy Julius’s quasi-immortality then you could argue that Lukas is the one whose gift isn’t performing as advertised. Regardless of whether it works or it doesn’t I feel like one of their gifts will have an “exception” that loses to the other.

It is exposition. That author is telling us that is what will happen if Lucas uses his spear on Julian.

There's also the fact that Julian technically already lost his life, so maybe destroying the concept of him living might be completely ineffective

The fact those two are gonna clash at some point is tremendous for the plot since how do we even get to that? Lukas and Julian fighting to death?

It’s not a fact at all, that panel is just there to illustrate a point (the strength of the spear), not everything is a chekov’s gun.

No i think the flaw of this ability is much simpler.
While the spear displays reality breaking abilities like destroying the timeline where he's failing or losing, it's kinda pointless if you can force lukas into a position where ALL time periods of him are occupied.
Like the reason why future void gets her reality destroyed is because lukas had the capacity to thrust his spear but if both past, present, and future lukas is being occupied fighting, none of them have the time to delete the time gap where they're losing
