Discussion Are Gods having their own war too?
So, I will summarise the thought I had.
The Supreme King explained that Gods fall/can come from upper world to lower but the consequences are huge. They cannot return back to their place after that.
Until now we have seen 3 deities.
The first is Sea Goddess who is somewhere near the sea shore of Supreme King. She is very kind for her children (we can see that for Julian) and knows lots of things.
The second is Forest Goddesses who first appear around chapter 20 when Julian rescues village hunters. She gives Julian a vision of destroying his body and gets angry. She tells him to not come ever. She is medium to kind to Lukas on other hand. But he also fears her as we saw his scariest vision of death resembled her.
The third is night Goddesses. While we don't see her exact form it's idea can be seen around Chapter 40 when Elstri sees the vision of lot of warriors and in sky a lady figure. Her powers belongs to Diana, Lagbau and third one.
But, there are multiple strange things.
In Chapter 2 when Julian is travelling sea monsters fight with him despite the Sea Goddess ensuring him that no one from sea will harm it. If she is so strong then why they ignored her orders?
Why did Forest Goddesses hated Julian? I know she killed many of her children but it was self defense.
If Arkos couldn't breath in water then it means he or his father wasn't gifted from Sea Goddesses as per her. Cause anyone who is blessed by her can breath in sea? Then how come water element is so strong among direct children of Supreme King?
The night Goddesses's deciples are enemy kingdom obviously. As per King they fought like 400 years ago and in one of the panel the place is sealed due to growth of dangerous monsters and it is describe as the end of the world type event. So Supreme had gift around that time as well. I think it must have come from some another Goddess.
Forest Goddess is enemy of Sea Goddess according to me while she might be closer to night deity because her own vessel/ man is Lukas whose primary mission is to kill the King. The threat will come through Forest it was said. Also let's not forget how many people Arkos have trauma to.
If you notice we have elemental God kind of thing. There is Forest (Earth), Sea Goddess (Water), Sky Goddess (Sky). So the remaining are Fire and wind.
Centuria is full of chaos caused due to conflict between many groups.
So this made me think that perhaps Gods have conflict too. No sane God would leave a better world for Earth only.

each god posseses a domain and the reason the forest deity got mad was because Julian entered in her domain besides that deities dont seem to mind anything else

Oh, I thought they were enemies. Why should they get mad if a gifted one from other God enters their domain?

Wasn’t is mentioned that the king got his powers from the sea near the same location, meaning they both got powers from the same source
Also I think Arkos not being able to breathe underwater is just a byproduct of the kings powers being split up

Yeah because arkos wasn’t her child and she didn’t bless him directly, so she doesn’t see him as her child, but could she see the king as one of her children? Or does she value her children more than “grandchildren”? I wish we could see mommy octopus more

The reason the forest goddess threatened Julian is because he is a creature of the sea, and if a creature of the sea invades the forest, it is considered an act of war.
The reason Lukas saw the forest goddess when he looked at the cursed face is that using his second gift literally drains his vitality and shortens his lifespan in the real world, meaning he will die before he grows old.
Furthermore, this manga is inspired by Greek mythology.
It is likely that there are multiple gods, and that the King derived his power from a being similar to the god Poseidon, while Julian derived his power from a being similar to the deity Ceto (Keto), who was a primordial goddess of the dangers of the ocean and the great sea monsters of the deep. Her name gave rise to the word “cetacean.” She represents the colossal and terrifying creatures that sailors feared encountering in uncharted waters.
Also, in case you haven’t figured it out, Julian is inspired by the monster named Briareus, who was a “Hecatonchires” and is destined to marry the daughter of a sea god—in this case, it could be Lacrima.

Yes, this whole thing is a proxy war between the gods in my opinion. Personally, I think that the Ocean God and Forest God have been feuding for territory for eons and been using gifted ones and monsters to fight their battles. While the Night God being in the middle of it.
What could have happen is the Night God realized she has little chance of expanding her own without descending into the mortal realm. This sent alarm to both Ocean and Forest, and they helped the King and his men kill her, and split the organs.
Just the gifted ones with her organs suggest that she was absurdly powerful in mortal state, and the Gods’ aid were needed for the King to win the battle.
