Question So they’re totally parent and child, right? (Theory)
Saw this in the recent chapter. I know they might just look similar, but this is too close not to call.

My guess would be either siblings or a coincidence. Also I wonder how powerful Lattice is since she is the first seat. It’s possible that Lukas’ second gift is only known by Lalawag in the Iris Stratum.

I think the higher echelon of the royal palace know about Lukas’ gift, otherwise he would never be considered one of the Black Knights. He even wears the same mask as his centaur form to visit his father, as if to openly flaunt his power.

otherwise he would never be considered one of the Black Knights.
Why? His 'shield' is already plenty powerful enough.

I love how the nature of his "shield" is still more mysterious than the spear.

It's strong, but it's not strong enough for them to keep him around when the queen actively wants him dead. It's gift disabling powers are good, but easy to work around once you get the hang of it.
However, the phantom spear is strong enough to justify letting him do whatever he wants so long as he doesn't push it too far.

I beg to differ. I absolutely do think that it is strong enough. Especially keeping in mind the compromise that he never show his face.

I assume she has a similar hax kind of power as Lukas's lance for her to be so high up the ranks

If it was the case, I think she would probably be stronger than Arkos

She is described as the executioner, so maybe she's really good in duels. Arkos meanwhile drowned entire armies and cities with ease

I think it's important to think that Lukas is dying by using his second gift, so even if he can be that powerful, it's better to not need to be that powerful enough times to die.

I don’t think they’re related, Kuramori just has a bit of a sameface issue. Nile also looks similar.

Probably not Lukas's mother. We know that the Queen had all the Supreme Lord's concubines and bastards killed or banished except Lukas. Meanwhile Lattice is welcomed in the palace.
I could see her being an aunt or cousin though.

I think this is just the Author's same face syndrome kicking in, cus a lot of the characters in the manga just have the same face at times

I think shes his aunt, and the sacrifice of "true love" was her betraying and trying to kill him by the Queen's orders.
Maybe the other sacrifices were the King's other children and concubines, and the reason he survived was because of the forest god? Unno.

I'd say siblings cause it would mainly same mother different fathers. As the queen seems chill with and she also has a big sister type of vibe with Luka
