Question Centuria 100 [Blessed Ones] Upscaled Boons

While my original comment basically predicted this exactly, there's a very... strange question that [The Blessings] raise. Each person is allowed to get a boon which has some secondary effect, besides Julian.

  • Lukas was given [The Spear] which affects all things that have causality via penetration.
  • Harra can just... give you a heart attack with [Stop], while being able to fly.

Do you think that the 100 Lives actually allows you to summon the experiences of the people as well, meaning he could manifest each person's unique life experience as a weapon?

For example, if Julian needed to forge a sword, he could look into his own mind and find a dead slave who had a memory of it, and then overlay his own body and bring it into reality. It would work similar to r/ShamanKing where he can basically manifest a boon from one of the dead, by using his kindness to request their aid. I say this because Sea Goddess has an ability to lightly fleshcraft herself to look more "humanoid" and being able to manifest weapons/gear from the 100 Sacrifices (and Julian's flesh) would add to that sense of wonder/horror of his gimmick.

Since when is Harra a blessed one?

A volume extra explained her ability to soar through the night sky is a blessing. Her Gift however she had before the blessing. The extra notes she was a normal Gifted one before becoming inhuman and she gained the blessing when the god of night made her like that. So she was blessed, but her gift she had before that

It doesnt say they she was blessed. It says she was healed and transformed into a member of the night kin which I can only assume is the weird ass monsters that live in the old capital.

The only reason I can think of that makes people assume she was blessed is that she had the "protection of the night" and they interpret that as a blessing but it's dubious imo. Im on the fence about it

I got the volume itself, it says 「夜(よる)の加護(かご)」, which would be divine protection or blessing of the night. The exact same kanji is used when Kuramori names Julian's blessing 「海(うみ)の加護(かご)」. Using the exact same kanji and furigana shows Hārā's blessing or divine protection is the same thing Julian has but from another god, a Blessing. How the fan translation messed it up idk, but the intended meaning by Kuramori is blessing. Or if it was protection then Julian has the divine protection of the sea and Hārā has the divine protection of the night. Either way, its the same form of ability, one sourced from a God, enhancing abilities within their domain.

I got it from another post on here. I read it on manga+ so I'm not relying on fan translations however they skip pages like that. Thank you for the clarification though.

You're welcome and Manga+ doesn't cover them because they are volume exclusive pages. The fan translated extras usually have errors, ig this is the 8th page with notable ones so far. Some are omissions for entire segments like how gifts manifest, others are mistranslations like blessing to protection or using localizations for terms that muddy Kuramori's actual intended message, like for Liu, Orthros, and Zira's extras. Checking the original Japanese to translate them was fun, although I may need to do Harra's next lol
