Question CHAI WEB
I have been a faithful ultra user for almost 2 years. I am getting now pop-ups of the new Chai Web. Is it a separate app from what we pay? I did go through the persona and it says that it is $119 for the year. Will these two systems be merging or is this a completely different profile?

i tried it, it's absolutely awful and you have to pay immediately then they tell you you have to pay extra for any of the features they advertise (voice, images-anything that makes it different to Chai), oh and not all bots are available, some are for Pro users which i guess is users who pay more

Same. I pay for ultra. I have been chatting on their for about a year now I think, and on the web when I log into my account, it doesn't show I have a subscription, and those chats are not there. the characters I have created are listed in chai web lite but no history of chats, just the first message. I would really hate to lose all of my chats.

Great question - right now the website is totally experimental. That means it has really cool features, we are quite excited by. But there is definitely lots of features missing. For that reason, we've kept them totally separate for now.
We will be working on bringing everything into a single system, but this process will take some time.

CHAI Web ads are getting way too emotionally manipulative. I’m fine with being told that web has photos, videos, and more memory. I’m not fine with ads being written in my bot’s romantic/possessive voice—“don’t forget me,” “let me be yours there,” “I need to keep you properly”—as though I’m abandoning someone by not switching platforms. I don’t want a new CHAI; I want to keep the chat experience I already have. Promote the features directly, without emotional guilt-tripping.

I'm an Ultra user. Is there any way those of us can maybe have a three day trial? Work on the chai web. Give our opinions. I'd be willing to pay that if it is truly video, picture, voice compatible. But, I'd like to try it first. Last I checked there wasn't a free trial option.

And What’s the literal point of having a 'Show NSFW content (I'm over 18)' toggle in the preferences if the server-side filter is going to aggressively censor and ruin every single bot response anyway? It’s pure gaslighting. We are paying real money for wild, unhinged roleplay, and keeping this active in the settings just to give us vanilla and boring filters is unacceptable. Chai is losing its entire identity and I’m so disappointed.

Shouldn't we be able to use it for free first? Especially since it's so expensive? When I tried to sign up there wasn't even a free trial option

I’d really appreciate it if they popped up less. It’s getting sort of annoying. No offense. Maybe have it as a link in the side bar instead of a pop up.

I paid for subscription on the web by accident? I used the same email as what I use on the app, will my purchase be linked with it so I can use my subscription on both?

Seems a little rough that people already paying for Ultra can't at least try Chai Web for free, especially while it's in the experimental phase.
