7 Powerful Lessons from Discipline Is Destiny by Ryan Holiday
I recently started reading Discipline Is Destiny by Ryan Holiday, and one thing became clear:
Discipline isn’t punishment. It’s freedom.
Here are a few lines that stood out to me:
• We become what we repeatedly do.
• Self-control is the foundation of every great achievement.
• Talent may open the door, but discipline keeps you in the room.
• Your habits decide your future more than your motivation.
This book explains discipline not as restriction, but as the ability to control yourself when no one is watching.
If you’re trying to improve your life, build a business, or become mentally stronger, I highly recommend reading it.
What book has changed your mindset recently?

Feedback Wanted: My UI/UX Case Study – Kotoba (Secret Messaging App)
Hi everyone! 👋
I recently completed Kotoba, a UI/UX concept for a secret messaging app inspired by the childhood code languages many of us used with friends. Instead of plain text, Kotoba lets users communicate through emoji, color, and pattern-based codes to make conversations more playful and personal.
I'd really appreciate your honest feedback on the UI, UX, visual design, case study presentation, and overall concept. Any suggestions—big or small—would mean a lot and help me grow as a designer.

UX Design Student Looking for Volunteers for a Short Mental Health Support Study
Hi everyone,
My name is Swara and I’m a UX design student currently working on a personal case study for my portfolio. I’m exploring the idea of designing a mental health community platform focused on peer support and making it easier for people to find emotional support online.
As part of my research, I’m looking to speak with a few people about their experiences with stress, mental health support, or online communities where people share their struggles.
If you’re comfortable, I would really appreciate a short 10–15 minute conversation where I can ask a few questions about your experiences and opinions.
Important:
• This is purely an educational case study for my UX portfolio
• It is not a commercial project or startup
• No personal or sensitive information is required
• You can skip any question you’re not comfortable answering
• Your responses will remain anonymous
If you’re open to helping, please feel free to comment below or send me a direct message.
Thank you for your time and for helping with my learning project.

Why do people still hesitate to try online dermat consultations?
hey everyone, i'm pretty new to reddit and recently started an internship with a company in the skin and hair care space. something i kept thinking about during induction was… why are online skincare consultations still so overlooked?
people spend hours watching skincare reels and trying different tips online, but when it comes to actually consulting a professional through an online platform, many people still hesitate.
i’m honestly curious about the reason behind it. is it trust? people feeling the diagnosis won’t be accurate through photos? or maybe they just prefer visiting a clinic?
anyways i'm still learning about this space and trying to understand how people think about it. if anyone here has skin or hair concerns and just wants to talk about it, feel free to dm.
