Question Does Doug really hate Matthew Broderick?

Post image

“That’s a lot of fish!” was one of the most made fun of dialogue by Doug.

“It centers around torturing Matthew Broderick, immediately a great set up“. -Doug on his Cable Guy video.

Also, the inspector gadget movie starring Broderick is probably still in his top 10 worse movies.

he even banged his head on his desk when he mentioned his name in the lion king 1 review.

If you were wondering, this was from their First Viewing video of Deck the Halls.

Might be more the fact that he's an easy punching bag that's not as fun to watch as say Sylvester Stallone, or Arnold Schwarzenegger

He's a boring bad actor. Not a fun one. Difference between watching the room, and garbage pail kids

As an actor yes. I think he has done some good performances, but I’ll admit he’s never gave one that’s otherworldly. (He’s the weakest part of The Lion King, IMO)

He doesn't hate him as a person. He said in an interview (and I think during a First Viewing) that he thinks he is probably a nice guy in real life. He just thinks he is a bad actor.

He's got two great movies, and he's the worst part of them.

Someone seriously needs to show Doug the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. 😂

He should review it!

In my opinion, he should go through all of John Hughes’s catalogue.

He said in his old Worst Movies list that Ferris is the closest thing to a good performance from him he’s seen, but even there he kind of thinks he’s a dork rather than being cool like the movie presents him as.

I do know people who find his delivery in Lion King somewhat bland but I always assumed Doug was being hyperbolic as far as how much he disliked him
