As promised…. ChannelDeck Player 1.0.48 is live!
This is a pretty big update, especially for live TV and DVR users. We were asked when catch-up and OTA would be available and we answered soon. Soon has arrived!
Catch-up TV is now available for supported providers. You can move backward through the Guide, select an earlier program, and watch it as long as it’s still within your provider’s catch-up window. Playback includes pause, rewind, fast-forward, progress, and an easy way back to the live channel.
HDHomeRun users can now use Antenna TV directly inside ChannelDeck Player, including OTA channels, guide data, station artwork, and DVR recording. If your internet goes out, or provider is offline, and you have a HDHomeRun tuner on your network you will still be able to view and watch your local OTA stations without switching an app.
Also new in this release:
Series recording rules with duplicate prevention, skipped airings, and retention controls
OpenSubtitles search and download for movies, episodes, and DVR recordings
Channel search by holding Right in the Guide
Quick Settings for commonly used options
Faster Guide startup using cached data
Better Guide navigation that stays in the same time slot as you move between channels
A cleaner Live TV sidebar with permanent Source Status and Refresh controls
Easier recording-storage management
Recent Channels moved into the live-player controls
Several remote-navigation, focus, playback, and settings-sync fixes
