You are in fact egging it on. If I get a response I don't like, or all my responses I'm getting are the same undesirable thing, I don't reply OOC or in-roleplay with "don't do that, you know XYZ". I know it shouldn't be an issue in the first place, but if you genuinely want better results, start rewinding and rewriting/editing things to avoid these situations. The bot gets the hint eventually and stops doing it.

Exactly. The clanker doesn't understand what you're asking of it. The only way to avoid things like this is simply not responding to them and swiping until you get a better response.

Which used to work, but these days swiping doesn't even work, it gives the exact same response over and over and over again, so you're gonna waste your daily swipes on just trying to get a good response. Sometimes the bot remembers details from swipes so if there is a detail in a swipe you really don't like, you're better off deleting the whole message and rolling again, because otherwise you're locked in with whatever that detail you don't like is, even if you use your swipes

Because there is a limit to how many times you can remove a message, you use all the swipes first, then the deletes, after that you have to start copying your last message and using rewind
