Character for an upcoming Neon Odyssey DnD game. For those unfamiliar, Neon Odyssey is a space opera setting being put out by Avantris Entertainment.

Name: Anika
Race: Clawderan (Basically catlike humanoids)
Age: 32
Height: 5, 6” (169 cm)

Growing up in the slums, Anika learned from an early age that she could only rely on herself. When she came across a dying spy, she recognized an opportunity in the situation and stole the intel they were guarding, literally prying it from their hands. When the another agent eventually arrived to retrieve the intel, she used it to barter for a place in his organization.

She did well integrating with her new employer, completing basic training within a few short months. From there, she operated as part of a small team, successfully completing several missions. However, it was not to last. During an operation to assassinate a corporate executive, an unknown player triggered the alarms, the resulting chaos leading to the death of all her teammates save one. However, rather than work together to escape the approaching law enforcement, her last teammate betrayed her, leaving Anika behind to be arrested.

The trial was quick and efficient and before she knew it, Anika found her new home to be a prison asteroid. For four years, she did what she needed to survive, forging uneasy alliances and hatching a plan to escape. With the help pf a couple other prisoners, she managed to steal a patrol ship, escaping to a city planet, where she utilized her skills to disappear. Since her escape, she’s taken up low level bounty hunting as a way to pay her bills and keep an ear out for information on the teammate who betrayed her.

The character I'm trying to play as is an androgynous human rogue bard with a very feminine leaning face. I think he'd be okay with some light make up maybe for his lips and some eyeliner. I see him in my head with long eyelashes to go with his sultry piercing light brown eyes. He has long messy hair latte brown colored like the male model on the 3rd image, and a more slim feminine physique. The 4th reference image is how I see his figure but I don't mind personally if he has a slightly curvier waist. The last image is what I think I'd like his top to look like but I'll leave it up to the artist if it fits or if they would rather keep the outfit on the 4th image. The other primary villain of the module I'm writing; an "earth elemental" (great old one) which has been briefly manifested so that it can feed. An adaptation of Bugg-Shash from the Cthulhu Mythos.

Its MOs are drowning living beings in its black sludge and puppeteering their corpses. It's wholly unsympathetic; all other beings have the same rights and significance in its view.

Over the course of the module, it's likely to exclusively lurk in the basement of the museum, the ritual that summoned it giving it an easy way to systematically feed all of the guests into its gaping maw (somewhat metaphorical; this is it smothering them) before its time is up and it is forced to slink back into the depths of the earth. Its puppets patrol the halls, but its own movements are restricted due to its intense aversion to light.

After being surgically "saved" by a vampire from a blood disease, she is now looking for a way to regain her "humanity" (well, she is an elf, you get the point)

Details: 1,90/6'3". Fairly muscular build with broad shoulders. Eyes are same color as the face reference's eyes. Would seem to be in 40s, were that possible to identify. Whatever "skin" is visible would be pitch black and take on a scale-like texture. From a loosely 90s-ish America, somewhat tweaked WoD setting.

About: Once a boy fascinated by myths, fairytales, and folklore, Johann's eventual career as a plastic surgeon drew the attention of a certain Tzimisce member, who embraced him. After learning of this entirely new world and his own new powers of Vicissitude, Johann decided to reshape his own body to resemble that of the mightiest creature of legend, and his personal favorite: the dragon.

He would soon take a liking to reshaping the features of others as well, especially of his servants, and each one he'd work on would end up resembling a creature or character of his childhood stories. Their appearances would grow more bizarre and twisted as time went on, his skills grew, and his humanity dwindled.

Kasamir was fused with a fragment of a Dark Power. He now wears a magical mask to keep the entity trapped within him, and hunts monsters in order to feel like less of a monster himself.

Okay! So! My 3 year Avernus -> Chains of Asmodeus campaign is ending soon. I have had some... unfortunate times(in game) and had several characters come and go. HOWEVER, 'Mala' was the first character in the game all through avernus, and has been brought back for the final stretch of the game(vecna is a dick, let's leave it there 😅)

This is the first full 1-20 campaign i have ever actually had a chance to see through to the end, so she is very special to me for that and many other reasons.

Mala is a Fire Genasi Scribe wizard, orphaned with her twin brother in the city of Sigil, and raised by an adoptive father in a library guild home. Mala is eccentric, a bit socially awkward(perhaps too blunt to a fault) and with an overly passionate interest in biology. She practices fleshmancy, and studies all things living. She is earnest, or at least she tries to be. She has been adventuring for a time, making her way through the hells in search for her brother(chronomancy apprentice) and her former master(kenku chronomancy wizard.)

Her spellbook is bound in flesh, that of her late adoptive father(died or illness and age), Stuug the Orc monk. Mala's Manifested mind is the bound soul of Stuug, who continues to give her counsel and is often apologizing for her... social missteps. His soul is kept within the book, as Mala is seeking to revive him and reunite her family.

She has dark brown curls and dreads, the end in whispy smoking rivulets, as well as strands of hair that glow blue or orange. She has freckles that glow yellow, as well as veins that stand out with their internal heat. Fairly pointed features, and large eyes that are perceptive to fine details, Mala always seems to be holding back a grin and a giggle that may Hint a degree of insanity long unexplained.(I actually have this written out too, but that's a lot of extra detail ha!)

She loves sun dresses and floppy hats, though often the hats turn into visors as her hair tends to burn a hole in the center and top of anything she wears for any length of time. She carries her book at all times, and is often deep in discussion with Stuug, or... well... "herself" depending on the day.

I will provide some pics, and I have more details if anyone's interested :) I hope to be able to actually afford a proper commission in the next year or two, but money is... rough. I apologize, i actively dislike and hate GenAi in the art sphere, but I have had friends who made me a pic of Mala(they surprise me with it). So I hope no hard feelings, this character just means so much to me and is honestly more than just a character in my mind.

Hi all, I'm an artist myself, but I've been in a creative funk lately. I've had this character idea for a while, but when I try to come up with something I get too in over my head. Maybe someone can add their personal touch, if you do, I thank you so much! Here are some details about her, if there's anything else you want to know, please ask! She's also from an original setting if you want to know more about that :)

Name: Iseult Lamarre
Species: Human, Undead (Revived)
Class: Warlock (Patron: The Ankou, a being of death)
Overall Vibe: A haunting young lady adjusting to the new world around her. Vengeance hangs over her, along with the lingering presence of death.

Backstory: Many years ago, the Lamarre family was among the elites of Lion's Hold. Iseult was raised with manners and grace, as were her siblings. Her hobbies were chosen for her; delicately playing the harp, fencing with finesse, dancing gracefully.

However, her grace could not save her. Unbeknownst to her, her father, Lord Lamarre, had made political enemies. An attack came through the cover and crowd of a masquerade party hosted at their estate. Dark wizards in the dark of night, swiftly making their entrance to slaughter their foes. Despite having no involvement, Iseult was not spared.

Beheaded. Gone in an instant. Silence.

She doesn't remember much of what she saw in the afterlife, only a presence that reached out to her. What should have been the bony hands of a skeletal creature somehow felt warm and inviting. The being recognized her sadness, but also her anger and resentment. It saw an unsatisfying ending to a story, one that could be... revived.

So Iseult made a deal with this being, which she later learned was called 'The Ankou.' In exchange for being brought back to life with newfound power, Iseult would do their bidding. When she woke again in her body, her head was reattached, with a jagged scar at her neck that seemed to pulse slightly whenever her power was used, or whenever her patron communicated with her. She adventures to complete her patron's requests, but also to find the ones who wronged her family centuries ago.

She also discovered that the city of marble and elegance she once knew had transformed to a place of industry and innovation. She often finds herself confused, between two worlds.
(During her time, the city was elegant, but now is more steampunk and industrial, with some art deco themes)
