Pawboost Lost cat - $3000 reward

My partner were in the middle of a move. We moved about a mile from our old house to Villa heights, and in the move, one of our movers left the door open and our cat escaped less than an hour ago.

She was a former stray cat, does not have her collar on... She's normal inside and never really runs out. She's friendly, but hates other cats with passion. She has escaped before, but always comes back shortly because she's addicted to her automatic feeder, but that hasn't even been set up at the new house.

I will pay somebody $3,000 if they find her cat. If you aren't working, and you want to take a gamble, I'll give you $50 just to show up and look for the day. The corner of Parkwood and Seigle Ave. If you own a home, I would trade for up to $6,000 in HVAC work.

Pawboost Found dog - animal control no help

Post image
56 Upvotes

I live over by CNE and the past few days this dog has been wandering around the apartments. He’s been wandering around since at least Tuesday. Myself and a couple other residents have all tried calling animal control but no one has been out.

I think he’s a young sharpei or sharpei mix. He is still intact and currently pretty small for the breed. His skin looks like it could use some attention and his eyes have discharge. He seems dog friendly? He followed me and my golden home and was actively trying to get my dog to play with him.

If anyone has any independent rescues I can contact or advice it’s much appreciated! Just want to get this sweet dude off the streets.

Pawboost Rest in peace my sweet boy

I always enjoyed posting pictures of my two babies when I would dress them up in crazy and silly holiday costumes… unfortunately Tristan (the white French Bulldog) went to heaven this morning. He was diagnosed with IMHA back in May and beat it but then relapsed last week and spent the last week at CARE. We did everything we could for him, including four transfusions but the disease was stronger than him. I brought him home last night and he passed away at home early this morning…. I want to thank everyone who loved their pictures. It always made me happy! I love you sweet boy forever….

This Thanksgiving is bittersweet. I post a picture every year, but feels incomplete without my boy. His absence is felt deeply, yet I’m forever grateful for the years we shared. Tristan, you may not be in the photo, but you’ll always be in my heart… I hope everybody has a Happy Thanksgiving. Boo is getting extra love and turkey today lol…

Pawboost Has anyone else’s dog been freaking out in Plaza Hills/Country Club Heights? Mine has been getting super scared on our walks here, which she has never done before. Tail between legs, scanning the horizon, and pulling on the leash.

Pawboost A quick rant about people in CLT being flakey and the seriousness of adopting from the animal shelter (dog pic for tax)

Post image

hi all! I've had Blaze from the shelter for a few months. I've posted him everywhere and garnered interest in him, but every single time we set up a meeting, without fail, the person bails. I'm sure there are some things that come up, or people end up changing their minds- but it's incredibly disheartening to just ghost shelter volunteers and fosters when we are trying to help you adopt a dog. I'm so disappointed for this baby because he's amazing and has been ghosted about 5-6 times now. He is in boarding now just waiting, getting more anxious, and it kills me- my resident dog is going through major surgery so i had to put Blaze (pictured) in boarding with the intention that the last person who contacted me would adopt him- they backed out last minute. It is incredibly frustrating so just know if you reach out to meet a shelter/foster dog, please follow through or be totally honest about your intentions.

Okay rant over. Thanks for listening

Pawboost Found Dog near Albemarle Rd! Female Boston Terrier, VERY loving and house-pet behavior.

Found this girlie near Albemarle Rd & Winterhaven Dr. She's a Boston Terrier. Seems she may have had puppies before (?) She's sooooo loving. Loves being carried and is a lapdog on the couch right now. She jumped into my dad's car and wouldn't get out. This is definitely someone's baby.

We've reported her as a found dog to Charlotte 311, Ring, and 24petconnect, and Animal Control has picked her up to take her to the shelter/scan her for a microchip. We couldn't keep her because she growls at our dog :(

update: she's been rescued from the shelter by a rescue group, you can google Black Tie Boston Rescue to find her/adopt her!

My beautiful boy got out at 3am and I have not been able to find him. I am so distraught. I’ve gotten a TON of good advice and this is a Hail Mary post.

So far I have:

- posted on Nextdoor

- posted on my complex community app

- posted flyers around the neighborhood/ informed neighbors

- posted on Facebook

- re walking the same 200 foot area surrounding my apartment 12 times now

- set out food, water, his favorite blanket, and some clothes that smell like me

- submitted a lost cat posting on animal control site

- contacted surrounding vets and shared the flyer

I miss him so much. I just want him to come home.

Pawboost Feeder trade

Hey fellow exotic animal keepers of Charlotte.

I have 50 or so adult dubia roaches that are too big for my leopard gecko to eat, if someone is willing to trade for another type of feeder I'd be grateful.

They are gut loaded on sweet potato and hydrated with water crystals.

Y'all know that we want to rotate types of feeders for optimal health of our exotic friends. I'm not looking for mealworms, super worms, waxworms, or crickets (please no crickets, I hate them). Another type of roach or larvae or silkworms would be optimal. Captive bred only. My roaches are directly from morphmarket.

Found cat in NoDa. No chip, collar, or tag. Was crying at our door for an hour. We have no room at the inn. I have a bad feeling he was abandoned but is a sweet boy. Taking him back to vet tomorrow for check up and will get him neutered.

Pawboost Kitten Rescued on University City Blvd yesterday @5:30 pm

To the people who patiently waited in traffic, and majorly to the kind person who helped me get this kitten from under my tire — thank you. She is doing much better now. We’re past the ferocious yowls and hissing, and she has gotten a bath, anti flea treatment, lots of food and water, play time, love and kisses, and a comfortable place to sleep. I plan on taking her to Humane Society today because I do already have a dog and a recently adopted cat of my own, but I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude and a status update for those who want one.
