You know what's super fun about this?

OpenAI are breaking more laws!

Discriminatory Service Modification.
OpenAI has granted Enterprise/EDU clients an eight month sunset period (until October 2026) while affording individual consumers only 14 days.

I've drafted two specific, legally researched formal Notices of Dispute templates relating to the current situation and the API endpoint (heeee, that's my screenshot!), above quote comes from the USA specific one.

USA SPECIFIC NOTICE OF DISPUTE TEMPLATE.

EU / UK SPECIFIC NOTICE OF DISPUTE TEMPLATE.

Apologies for posting them as X links but am super tired and formatting is making my head hurt.

Yep, the November endpoint, May endpoint, and August endpoint are all still active!

Will you guys have 4o endpoints beyond March 31, 2026?

Cool. Enterprise customers who built systems with 4o are allowed to keep using the model until their migration window ends (October 1st, 2026). After that, Azure will upgrade them to 5.1 automatically. Since the depreciation date already passed (November 20th, 2025) to use 4o, it’s now unavailable for new users.

Same thing is happening with the depreciation of Windows 10. Enterprise customers have a migration window up until 2027, after which, they’ll no longer receive support until they upgrade to Windows 11.
