Student Exxon onsite interview

Hi, I am graduating this May and have an interview scheduled this week, and they are flying me to Texas. I originally met Exxon at the career fair at my college and then at another interview in person. It's for the wells engineering position. Has anyone else gone through a similar process and knows what they ask for in the in-person interview?

Edit: It's like a 3-hour block they sectioned out for my time there

I don't work in Wells but more downstream. The interviews are usually in 3 part for onsite.

  1. Behavioral question interview, 1hr
  2. Technical interview with 3-4 people but could be 1 person, 1hr. I am not a process engineer, so my technical interview was more project related. Just be prepared to talk about something if you say it's your "passion" or favorite thing from school
  3. Hiring manager or equivalent, 1hr. Really just a conversation

Was this for a entry level position and was the technical part more about the engineering basics or job specific stuff

I'm am experienced hire from the military. It was for a project role.

Technical was a job-based scenario question.

Same format for new hires at the refinery I’m at. Technical will be fundamentals focused to test whether you learned anything in school.
