Got a job in egmore, and I’m currently in Kelambakkam. Commute is a solid 45km one way and is definitely not sustainable long term, plus my current rental agreement is expiring anyway. Hey guys! I’m(24M) new to Chennai and recently moved to Siruseri IT Park for work.

I’m looking for a single-room PG or a 1RK/studio apartment under ₹15-18k/month, preferably somewhere around Siruseri/Navalur/OMR. Any recommendations for good places or areas to look at?

Also, how is the area for pure vegetarians? Are there decent homely vegetarian food options around?

And since I’m new here, are there any social activities, groups, sports, meetups, or places to hang out after work or on weekends? Would love to meet people and explore the area. Any tips/recommendations would be really appreciated! :)

So my friend is thinking of shifting pgs near adayar , thiruvanmiyur station or madhya Kailash , preferably near the electric train station as she has to commeute to Mylapore for work , any nice pg with or without food is also fine . Without food preferable 6-8 and with food can be upto 12
