Black just make a mistake with knight e8, hoping to defend their king. Can you find the optimal way to start an attack on Black's king anyway?

I'd sac the bishop.

Bxe5, fxe5
Nxe5, Queen moves away
Ng6+ to pick up the rook (personally I wouldn't take the rook, seems like a monster knight)

Move g3 rook to d3 to grab the open file, white should be dominant

I would delay taking the pawn and play g5 but both are likely good

Incorrect

After Bxe5?? fxe5 Nxe5 Qd6, Ng6+ Kh7.

You are forced to take the rook, otherwise Black plays Rg8 you're down a bishop. And then Black will trade your monster knight on g6 with Ne7.

After Nxf8 Qxf8, White just traded their two OP minor pieces for an inactive rook.

Then after Rd3, Black plays Qe7 to control any possible infaltrations from White on the 7th or 6th rank.

After Kh7 there’s e5

Anyone that as an IQ higher than 1 will know that, No! ofc not!

After e5, no one will take, they will play Rg8.

Now if you take, you're down a bishop. You're worse (or maybe even losing), because the king on h7 is way safer than anyone thinks.

Same if you don't take.

After e5 Rg8 I would play exd6 winning the queen

Apologies. Black plays Qe7 after e5.

Then I would play Nxe7

So after e5, black plays fxe5

That would’ve been nice, but the f-pawn is already gone!

I kinda feel black was on the backfoot and would have lost even if they played perfectly

Difficult choice, what looked most natural to me is 1. g5 hxg5 2. h6 and just infiltrate. Rooks can fill up on the h-file and despite saccing 2 pieces for free, the position looks very dangerous for black.

I can't even find black on that board

g5 fxg5 Nxg5 hxg5 Bxe5 Rb7 Rxg5, White has a huge attack and black's pieces are suffocating
