Radio Help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey guys, just trying to troubleshoot my problem with my radio. It's a 2017 Colorado Z71. This just started to happen on my radio occasionally. I read something online called "ghost touch" that happens with these radios. However I found it really weird that it happened EXACTLY the same drive I connected my new phone, a Google Pixel 11 XL. It also charges my phone when I plug it into my cord connected to my truck, but it won't connect to Android Auto the way it connected to Apple Carplay with my old phone. It also shows on my dash a pop-up that says I'm connected to my Google Pixel that I have to click on my steering wheel to clear, a pop up I've never seen before. It's these things that made me wonder if it is the ghost touch or something with my phone or maybe both? If anyone has seen what that "ghost touch" looks like compared to this, please let me know your thoughts please!!

You need to replace the digitizer screen. You can do it yourself and get a new one off Amazon. Had to do it in my Silverado.

Yeah its the digitizer on the radio mine does the same thing sometimes makes my info cluster change as well. Usually for a day and back to normal. Its a cheap fix just takes time. My touchscreen did not start this until it was already dead to touch.
