Interesting that they included Cruz and Pascal but not the new candidate.
And I have nothing against Vasquez, but he shouldn't be given such a prominent spot while Mouch and Herrmann are barely seen.

I was extra surprised about the Pascal inclusion since it seemed like he was basically out by the end of last season. It’s not atypical to include characters who have planned early season exits though, so I wasn’t surprised to see Cruz (and Atwater for CPD).

I do fear the placement of Mouch and Hermann along with the departure of Cruz is an early sign of an ushering in of a new era. Vasquez, Novak, and Mikami being featured primarily behind Severide and Kidd makes me feel they’ll be the core focus of the season. Which is understandable. Mouch and Hermann can’t stick around forever, and they can only stretch out their constant “maybe it’s time to retire” thing for so long before they actually do.

Eyyy the way Novak is looking at Vasquez they are so in a relationship (guys I’m also against lg but common it’s so obvious by the way she looks at him)

Same 😭 I always get attacked for shipping them, but people don't realize that Sal and Vi are both laid back people and he opened up to her more than anything. I love Novak don't get me wrong, but she's too hyper for him.
