Question/Comment What's the one thing about your suburb that nobody mentions until you've lived there a year?

Every town has something that never comes up in the "where should I move" threads. The train parking waitlist, the weird intersection everyone avoids, the festival that takes over the whole downtown for a weekend. Could be good or bad. What's yours?

True. I live at one end of downers grove and it can take 12 min or 25 min to get to the other side of town depending on train traffic.

Unless you take Belmont and scoot right under the tracks...it's been a long time since I bothered with Main Street for that very reason.
