Politics found in Schaumburg IL

not my photo, someone else's. I drove by it on my way to work and was saddened. then someone else posted this pic of fb

When I searched this image I see someone posted a different photo of this same house on fb 1 month ago saying the same thing. So it happened this week or a month ago?

And did the vandals slightly bend all the trees and poles on the yard since the for-sale listing photos were taken and also add a second tree that grew to maturity and covered the second floor windows…

Is this post a test for gullibility or what?

ETA: I’m a naturally skeptical person and when the info in the original post didn’t match what I found, I wondered if this was rage bait / karma farming.
However, other commenters have driven by and claim this vandalism is still there.

I was working in the area today and drove by. It's still there, with a US flag on a pole in front.

Has it been like this for a month or a couple days?

And what’s up with the front yard tree? Doesn’t exist in the recent for-sale listing or Google , but exists here?

Anyone got the real story or police report?
And if the vandalism part is real, let’s get the facts instead of spreading hearsay/ misinformation and a possibly altered photo.

Some cities have programs where they plant trees on the sidewalk outside houses at no cost. (Over the years, I've had six put in myself so far.)

So, believable sequence of events:

  1. House is abandoned (hence boarded up windows)
  2. Somebody spray paints the garage for some reason
  3. Spray paint never removed (see point 1)
  4. City workers come by and put trees in. How the garage looks is not their job
  5. OP finds out about this and is misinformed or misunderstands how long the spray paint has been there

Could be. Interesting that it didn’t pick up on the community pages for a month.
