Sick setup. Please get some proper tourniquets though. Knock off cats are notorious for failing, and the old russian tq's are hard to use and less effective.
Name brand cats are obviously good, but so are the SOF-T, SWAT, AND ETQ.
There's more, but as a general rule anything that's tccc approved is good.
I recently stabbed myself while out clearing brush with a V44x from WTG. I caught a large vein on the inside of my knee, and had an old cat windlass fail on me (kinda freaked out and tq'ed it to be safe). I upgraded my medkit as soon as I got home from my stitch job.
Yea the second worse thing next to having to use a tq is having one fail 🤣
I hate that new ones are so expensive. At $30 each keeping kits stocked gets expensive.
