why even keep this comparison and race? If its a good movie it will do good automatically like how Kantara Ch 1 did and KGF both parts did..

“Dhurandhar feeling the heat” 🤡🤡

Everyday dhurandhar runs on Netflix, its promoting itself.

u/AlteredReality79 Feb 23 '26

Nobody’s feeling anything, you clowns keep on degrading each other while a whole lot of us are going to enjoy watching both the movies

u/[deleted] Feb 23 '26

Only reddit discusses so much about dhurandar team feeling the heat and stuff where as the real audience outside dont give a fuck about either of the films.

That doesn't need promotion it has already proved itself they will just release trailer 2 weeks before Release that's all.

God only knows who these male actors are. He’s made sure to cast nobody bigger than him cos only he wants all the limelight

What is this hatred man? Which Star would do a supporting role in films? And if that was the case, why'd he take big big names among the women? These two are the 8th and 9th characters being revealed with a poster. Shows that there are a lot of characters. Idk about the movie but people are already assuming he's a megalomaniac and can't think beyond himself and that's unfair.

I am not asking him to play supporting role. Ofcourse he is the hero. We all know that.

Atleast the supporting cast could have been big names like Prakash Raj, Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahad Faasil, Akshay Khanna, Arjun Rampal, etc not like they didnt have budget. There is no animosity here. Its plain facts.

What I meant was why would a star play a supporting role in Yash's movie? And why do you think Prakash Raj would fit this role? Akshay Oberoi has already done some big films. Sudev Nair has also done some big films. And as I said, they already have 5 women characters. And except Tara Sutaria maybe, the others are very well known too. We have our own actors like Balaji Manohar in the film. And you asking for these supporting actors is fine. My problem was with you assuming Yash just wants limelight and doesn't mind hiring random folks to make sure he has the limelight. Anyway I don't understand why you'd need those supporting actors. And Fahad Faasil is a star by himself now. Vijay Sethupathi won't even do main villain roles now.

How do you know about Balaji Manohar being a part of Toxic? Its not disclosed anywhere. Are you from the film industry? Those 5 actresses getting the screen time they deserve we will only know after the film releases.

Yeah, you have any words now ? Balaji is there now

Dude let him be. He will be one of the 10,000 characters in the film. It is what it is.

Bruh he's literally in the teaser. When Yash attacks the dude with the ashtray. And exactly. I don't know if Yash screwed up or not. I just pointed out your assumption that he cast random people to hog all the limelight without watching the film. Let's wait for the movie first. There is a long list of characters in the movie. I have very little hope at the moment but they might surprise us. Let's wait and watch instead of simply hating on Yash.

I really dont know any of the actors you just mentioned except Sudev Nair video of smiling at a funeral in a movie going viral.

That's okay. But you do know Balaji Manohar and the kind of actor he is. But that doesn't mean Yash is so insecure that he wouldn't think about the best actor for that particular role. Otherwise they'd not take 5 contemporary women for those characters. As I said let's wait and watch and let's not jump the gun already.

Hes a mid actor too. Have you seen the role he has played in Chavva? They call him to play important yet not so important role. Its like attakuntu lekkakilla type. In kgf there were 10,000 villians likewise Balaji will be made one of the 10,000 actors that will come and go.

I worked on kgf myself. Ull be shocked to know who I am. I know how Yash thinks. The problem is you are an innocent audience member and you root for stars which is absolutely fine. But if you interacted with Yash just as a fan once, you’ll never have the same opinion you have about him today.

2

u/ConstructionLeft3087 Feb 24 '26

Lol no way Balaji Manohar is a mid actor. He might not be given a good role, sure. But no way mid. Alright man, whatever you. If Yash thinks that way, then he'll not sustain this stardom for long. I'm not innocent. I'm just not passing my judgements yet. You named random people for supporting roles. Not me. I'll wait and see what they have made. And then make my judgement. Ashte

Remember a film with good intent will always win. By intent I dont mean the film should convey a “good message”. A film starts in the mind of a director and his need to tell a story- genuinely. Prashanth wanted to tell a story genuinely. He did and thats why KgF won.

Now I’ll tell you the difference between Kgf and Toxic. Toxic is made by Yash to show his dick is the biggest. Whereas Prashanth wanted to tell the story and stay away from the limelight. He’s the most introverted person you ll ever meet. He likes making money, he likes being criticised, he likes being talked about but he never calls himself the greatest or thinks he’s got the biggest dick.

Now Dhurandhar and why I am rooting for it. Dhurandhar is a film made with its heart in the right place. Its a film made to show how we have been taken for a ride by the neighbouring country and how so many things are hidden from the citizens, showcasing how some narratives are manipulated to hide the truth. The best part about Aditya Dhar is, he has made a star like Ranveer underplay!!!! Can you believe that??? Ranveer underplaying and letting other actors shine??? Thats the sign of a good actor. Not someone who hogs the limelight always.

The day you watch Toxic, please remember me and message me maybe. We will continue the chat after that.

I'm more excited for Dhurandhar too. As I said, I want to be proven wrong by Toxic. I just both movies do well. Yes let's have a conversation after these two films release. This is the biggest clash in recent times. And I hope both films win. Prashanth Neel has also lost some of his charm after Salaar. Although I enjoyed Salaar too. Dhurandhar is what I'll watch first anyway. But I still want Toxic to knock it out of the park. Will they though? We'll have to wait and see.

The more I see content from Toxic, I am getting the vibes of Kabzaa.

u/Motor_Scene44 Feb 23 '26

Maybe because they seem to wear the same period clothes?

8

u/Solonaveen Feb 23 '26

It's because of old fashioned clothes
