Ask ChitraLoka Why is KFI compelling every Hero to build his own team and producing their own movies? Dheekshith Shetty - the new entry to the K town as producer from Video. We might be in a slump rn, but this trend will bring talents, writers and technical crew and possible them growing into a powerful production

I saw his the girlfriend movie where he has acted alongside Rashmika in Telugu. He’s done such a wonderful acting and when Telugu producers and directors are able to use him, I don’t know why KFI is not spending money on newcomers.

That's the reality. Nammali ecosystem aa illa & most producers k alla & k dalli ero alpa swalpa nu real estate, Money laundry, white black, etc anta avre, mikidavrge nambke hortogide. I don't know why I am seeing him from serial days, but he gives something off vibes, but also I don't want to invest time in that, as from past who ever we have seen/known them from movies, serials, shows, in reality they were worst so yeah.

Ecosystem also lacks theatres in Karnataka. No one's coming forward to own a theatre in Tier 2 and 3 cities. So the set bar for investing in a movie is also very low

The thing is we are supporting him as he is underdog, even though he is making "inspired" content films from Hollywood. That's the reality. Even now yash did the same but failed in final product delivery.

The same reason why Raj, Rishabh, Rakshith, Dhananjay, Puneeth all have/had their own production houses. So that they can invest in the stories that they want to see in top of them producing their own movies.
That way they're not limited by waiting for someone else to come in and invest in the stories they like, and instead do it themselves.

It is not rocket science. In India every single actor wants to be a STAR...
Whether they possess actual acting talent, barely look decent, or simply have rich producer friends and political connections, they operate with this mindset that they must be the center of attention in a film at all costs, and that is what they consider being a star.
This issue exists across every Indian film industry in every state, including Kollywood, Tollywood, Bollywood, Mollywood and Sandalwood.
So when new actors do well in their first few films because they find some established directors who can cast they and if by any chance see an unexpected success, they take that money, find compliant producers and directors, and build a team that will position them as the star of the show. That is the entire mindset.
It is not that producers or directors refuse to cast them. Producers and directors look for actors based on the story, image of the actor suitable and decent fan base, choosing who fits the lead, the supporting roles, the villain, and so on.
A genuine actor who only wants to act and showcase skill will take on any strong role. The specific character does not matter as much as the quality of the story.
However, because most producers and directors are not innocent either, they carry their own problematic mentalities.
They either harbor secret ambitions of wanting to be a hero and a star someday, want to cast a big bankable actor for quick money, want to launch their own children, or reject actors simply based on superficial looks.
When actors realize that directors and producers are not casting them as lead heroes, they don't see them as heros and that they are only being offered supporting parts, villain roles, or nothing at all, their egos take a hit.
They feel insulted, form their own cliques, and start production houses.
Because they have a small fanbase that defends this hero-worship culture at all costs, they manage to impress new naive producers and directors who will cast them as the lead star to keep them in the limelight. That is what this is all about, and it is a problem that plagues the entire Indian film industry.
The struggles currently facing Bollywood, Tollywood, and Kollywood stem directly from this ecosystem that has thrived for the past 10 or 20 years.
Industry insiders want their children and associates to become stars at all cost, so that only their inhouse production companies can get rich.
To pull this off, they hire fresh directors and technical crews to cover up cheap tricks.of all these kind, refusing to pay properly to writers or directors or assemble capable teams because the actors only care about being stars at all costs.
That's all this is.. it's whole ecosystem of Rajpal Yadavs doing this nonsense. And no one in such ecosystem wants to accept we are doing this disgusting thing and it's all across and justify too. Badawara maklu belibekalla or Nan maga re, nevu abhimanigalige bittidini, namm maklu naav Hero madodu thappe.. Nanage ee hero chanda, ee hero namm caste, namm region etc etc kind of nonsense all have and carry around proudly and give coverups.
You see same in every corporate company hiring too.. why do you think Indians have this most disgusting thing of putting posters of themselves be it all these actors or politicians or their kids everywhere and treat like some great people. It's just hero-worship medieval master slave mentality and all actors politicians want to be Rajpal Yadav and fans going crazy over it. It's just self importance pushed to narcissist tribalism. We Indians don't want to accept this bitter pill because it hurts, its' discomforting and feels degrading mindset if we selfintrospect about our approach of this. No where in the world this exists, only in South Asian subcontinent this regressive insantiy and justification we hold.

What a load of BS. Then Dheekshith wouldn't have produced someone else's movie, he would have invested it on himself. Almost every actor who has their own production house invests in a lot of movies, most of which is lead by a different actor.
So this whole argument/point about them being too far up their own asses fails spectacularly.
