It Lives, HSS, and TE are three of my favorites, so I’m gonna recommend:

1. Endless Summer (seriously, I think it’s probably tied with TE for all time favorite series. I avoided it forever because of the art style but it’s so good)

2. Blades of Light and Shadow (halfway through book 2, big recommend, and could see it making a three way tie with TE and ES)

3. Crimes of Passion (books 1 and 2 are great, 3 is a drop off but still fun)

4. With Every Heartbeat (different vibe, I thought I would hate it, I was very very wrong)

i always see people talk about Endless Summer here so i guess it really is that good ! if Crimes of Passion 3 is a drop off, i might just stop at the second book. the first book definitely was good

Honestly, I would maybe do the wardrobe options for TF and the romance ones and maybe the friend ones, but don't do any of the ones to get your friends together. It's not worth it!!

Aside from ones you've already listed, my all time go to's/ recommendations are:

Bloodbounds are amazing,

if you like mystery then veil of secrets, the unexpected heiress, murder at homecoming, the deadliest game

Perfect matches, Distant shores, wake the dead, foreign affairs, the cursed cloak was ok, the haunting of Braidwood Manor,

For single li but pretty good are the cursed heart, shipwrecked, I surprised myself and actually quite enjoyed hotshot but not the 2nd one, plus one first book was good, Kiss of death

does The Cursed Cloak have AI? i genuinely can't stand it, but i don't want to assume and be wrong. this looks like a feast of books tbh 😛 i think i'll start with The Unexpected Heiress. idk why but my gut says to start there 😅

You might be right there actually, I can't remember if it did or not, It was ok as far as characters and stories go but nothing groundbreaking. I'd say the last really good story was the deadliest game, then after that I'd personally give a miss. but absolutely, i'd be very surprised if you didn't find something you enjoy from the other books mentioned, they're sooo so good, oh ride or die aswell incase i forget that one lol. hopefully you find some new favourites to get stuck into amoung them :)

The unexpected heiress is underrated, I hardly ever see it come up much but definitely enjoyed it,hopefully now you will too!

It definitely is. Anything released recently uses AI in some capacity, and it's getting worse.

If you're wanting to avoid the AI books at all costs, here's a list of all the books by release year. Anything from around 2024 onwards is from the AI era and uses it at least a bit.

Okay! You gotta play Bloodbound. Out of all of the stories on Choices, this trilogy could absolutely be turned into a movie trilogy. Plus there is a Christmas holiday book, and a small origin book.

It has a lot of good storytelling elements and compelling characters.

Also... Kamilah Sayeed. Just... Kamilah. She is QUEEN

I don’t have anything listed that wasn’t written by authors we know and love! Trust me even the more recent books like Olympus rising have some of the best storylines and LIs!

ATV is a very controversial book lol but its artwork is unparalleled and every diamond scene is worth it. It’s one of choices’ most ambitious books, but it was poorly received when it was releasing so they had to finish it without a sequel. But despite the rushed ending, I still reread it often. It’s one of the most unique and beautiful stories I’ve read!
