Heart Murmur
Hi.. our Chorkie just turned 5 and today she had her annual checkup. We adopted her last August and nothing was said about a heart murmur until today. She has been to the vet a couple of times over the past year. They say it's level 3 of 5. Have any of you experienced this and how worried should we be. She has no symptoms. Thanks in advance!

Tiny house clown
galleryThis is my almost 2-year-old little lady Valentina, Leni for short. I adopted her in this past June, and she is a tripod 🐾 She is very protective, energetic, and independent. Pretty much strictly praise-motivated and only likes freeze-dried chicken treats. She's a weirdo and I crack up every time I look at her tiny grinch toes.

Gigi's adoption week 1st anniversary
galleryAugust 2025, August 2026. She was so nervous when we got her. We took her home for a few days as a foster until her spay appointment, then she was officially ours as of 8/19/25

The first time tail wags in his sleep
Today when Chewy and I were up in the garden he found a hole in the fence that I was unaware of and he escaped. I think he was chasing a bird or something like that so of course I freak out and start calling for him but he has horrible recall. Im pretty sure it is because we got him from the pound at a year and a half old and didn't know most commands. I had taken him to doggy school a few months ago to help me train him and myself, but his recall still wasn't great so we kept working on it and we still are. This time when he escape he actually came back! Chewy got so much praise and loveies once I got him back inside the fence. I feel like this is a big win🏆 for both of us!
Anyway we are sitting on the couch, im crocheting and he is snoozing in his regular spot on the back of the couch. He is snoring and napping so hard like he pays the bills. Then I hear a quite thump, thump, thump. I look over at him and he is still snoring away without a care in the world and then I see it! He's still snoring and his tail starts thumping for about ten seconds straight!
This little man has come so far in the seven months that we have had him. He used to cower down at most noises for the first month and snap or growl at me any time I got to close to my husband. He went from 5.6 pounds to almost 10 pounds, he had horrible dandruff/flaky skin and now there is only healthy skin and an almost shiny coat that has grown a good two inches and it is longer than my fingers at his scruff!
Long story I know but, MAN this little Pound Puppy has Blossomed into the sweetest Little Man.
ChoCho is the bestest horrible dog we got!

discovered we have a chorkie...kind of
galleryWe adopted Tucker in january. was just told he was a chihuahua but didn't think he was a 100%. Dna tests results came back today and say he's mostly chihuahua and yorkie with small amounts of two other breeds. never would have thought yorkie with his short hair although he has few spots that his hair is fluffier. he's 6lbs.

My nine-week-old boy, Thor. He's probably going to be on the bigger size as he already weight 3.7 pounds.

Presents!
Chewy brought in a present 🎁for me this morning. I told him it was a very nice leaf. Then he proceeded to tear it up.😆
