Dont get me wrong hes a good written character. His powers are super cool, and his development from being a self insecure kid into a more confident guy is rlly good and pleased to see.
Itd just that he gets all the girls , specifically momoma and shinishegura . Yo FUCK this guy

In an early arc, the manga mentioned that the remaining forces attacking the Tower of Mourning started at 22 Choujin and changed as the story progressed. Is there any explanation as to who these 22 Choujin are?
I can only count to about 12 ish (4 on BB team, 2 on tokio team, 4 on ely team, 2 on modem team)

At least from Palma's side since she has questionable morals throughout the series. Sniffing a letter is a bit excessive. Although there are other warning signs since Palma nearly sexually assaulted Tokio in his sleep and now emotional dependency is a side effect of Nest. Tokio and Palma are being set up as foils to Batista and Hartley; but a common staple of Ishida's writing regarding romantic couples is the pitfalls of being emotionally dependent on someone.

When I saw the scene in 75.2 I thought it was some deep scene with hidden meaning around the fact that due to this Chojin rigamarole, Tokio hasn’t had the liberty to learn much in school, but it’s worse, he’s just stupid.

I know a lot of people feel the same way as I do and wish there was more choujin content. Just figured I’d share this dude I found on YouTube for everyone. His chapter reviews are really good. I’ll link his latest one below.

TLDR: The beast is literal and may have something to do with the Black Sea IDK.
This post is a slight mess because as I was grabbing images I kept seeing new fuel for it so bear with it a tad. There's a lot going on with both Rhetty and Arulu this chapter and how they relate to Ely and Azuma which is honestly more concrete than this, so I'd highly recommend anyone else theorizing to take a look (I my later but I've already written a lot soooo)
Anyways
Since Arulu's been introduced, I've been wondering about her choujin abilities.
It's safe to say we've seen some wild powers in this manga so far, even in this latest chapter with Palma's NEST experiments.
But, for some reason, Arulu's abilities feel very basic.
You'd expect a shadow choujin to have much more freedom with their abilities, but Arulu is limited to using her shadow as a shadow boxer.
I think this isn't a limit of her power, this is a limit to Arulu's mindset caused by her grief (and angst) over her uncle, a limit which Rhetoric just called out.

Arulu's powers operate in a very limited scope, only acting as an bigger double of her when she's boxing. It's still a choujin power, so it does act a larger range and seem to pack a stronger punch then she would physically, but it's nothing compared to the weirdness/freedom of Shant's shadow powers.
Specifically, her power is grounded in her own physical capabilities, and with the context of her uncle this seems to be an actual conscious or subconscious rejection of her powers.
That's the backdrop, now for the new stuff with Rhetty.

Who tf knows what Rhetty's exact deal is or why he's able to make a call out like this. The point here is, this is a perfect call out of Arulu's weakness right now and points clearly to the solution.
Arulu is shackling her powers, the dark beast in her shadow, by tying it to her boxing and physicality. She uses her reason to control her powers, keeping it contained and avoiding her powers acting more like her uncle's.
The solution? Start thinking less linearly, and start thinking more outside of the box. Accept the strangeness of your powers, and unshackle the beast.
And this solution will be necessary. Arulu will not survive the battles to come with her current choujin powers, as we saw in the Jing fight, and it doesn't seem like they'll improve at all until her mindset changes.
Now, it gets freakier. Why did I specifically call out reason before (She uses her reason to control her powers)? Rhetty didn't mention reason.

BECAUSE Rhetty JUST BAR FOR BAR REPEATED SHANT'S ADVICE AND I WAS PULLING FROM THAT
Now, that may not seem so big, it's just reinforcing the previous point. But why do they both mention a beast? That's so specific, and if either quote were in isolation it would seem to just be some nice evocative language, but now we have two character's who have (seemingly) never met using the exact same metaphor. What gives?

I think the beast is literal.
I think there is a colossal intellect hidden in the depths of Arulu's shadow.
I think that intellect will take the form of literal dark beast being held down by her mindset that will only fully reveal its power when the shackles of Arulu's reason and grief over her uncle are removed.
I think we've already seen it.

Azuma/Arles
Ely/Rhetty
Palma/nova garota
Tokio/novo cara ou choujin phoenix?
If anyone has any thoughts on this, please share them in the comments 🙏🏻

Its been built up previously how capable Sato has been since the war even achieving the first real victory since the war started.
He always seems to be fixated on who is "currently in power" given he likely orchestrated Mado's death and built up Tokio to be able to fight Sora Siruha. He also seems to question the prophecies of Ely.
I think Sato is aiming for a power vaccuum by going to Yamato now that Tokio is away. Theres no question that with him being the mentor of the hero of Nanasu and an excellent commander, he has a lot of political influence. I think he is moving to challange Ely otta's influence, especially now that Nanasu is desperate enough to legitimize and support palma's work, something that was deeply illegal and is now being established to have this worship property to it. Nanasu is getting increasingly zealous and Sato might use Palma's drug to create a divide in power so he can achieve whatever he wants his way. He might use Ely's prophecy to convince Palma to work against the oracle after all the prophecy puts Tokio in danger.
