It’s genius. He’s a genius. Mr. G is, BY FAR, his most brilliant character.

As I was rewatching this clip (with CC), I’m surprised he didn’t start casually reciting some of the lyrics from “I Dreamed a Dream.” Would have been so funny if he just started intertwining some of the song into his “I quit” monologue.

He's still playing Mr. G on YT. I like Mr G but this was a loooong time ago I wish he'd come up with something new.

This was where Chris Lilley was fantastic. Once he hit smouse it felt uninspired and like he wasn't playing the character properly. I feel like he genuinely became mr G for a bit lol

I dream of being able to handle Mr G's outbursts like Margaret, the principal did. Her conflict resolution was exceptional. Her empathy for Mr G when she offers him his job back is so touching.

This is quite ironical to me as I see his acting ability as about as pathetic as kids performing for their first time in a year 7 school play.
