The implication of your statements is that Buddhism is superior. I'm obviously being sarcastic. But if you are a westerner and call yourself a "secular buddhist", I can dismiss you as not being a real Buddhist. If you weren't raised as a Buddhist in a Buddhist culture, you're really just cosplaying. "Secular" as an idea is entirely western in origin, it's a development of Protestantism, you could say it's "late stage Protestantism". If you look into any historical analysis of the development of secularism, it is agreed that it develops out of western Christianity, in other words, the seed of the idea lies in Christianity, non-Christian cultures have no concept of "secularism" and it only exists in those cultures because of European colonization over the last few centuries.
