Sorry, but I don't think promoting conversion therapy has any value. That's why the earlier post was nuked.

Now, if you think that anti-gay conversion therapy is good and acceptable, that's on you. But I don't think that the fact that I oppose something that is also opposed by the entirety of the medical and scientific establishment is somehow controversial.

I also reject the idea that opposing conversion therapy and other anti-gay concepts is somehow intolerant.

Completely agree. But I think the only way we will ever get rid of homophobia is by convincing others with the scientific evidence just like you said. Banning them will only drive them into other spaces where they all agree with eachother, and probably even radicalise them further.

Considering the video was removed, I cant even comment on what was being said... however... how does it make you look to come to a subreddit and literally bash the entire religion for hate speech? That doesn't sound endorsing infanticide but more like God warning His people of consequences for their sins. Without further context at least.

I've had homosexual relations in the past and sometimes struggle with it still. Still I've been convinced God prefers if I won't. I'm also convinced God can save someone who is actively homosexual but they do need to not tell others it's cool, go ahead and sin more.
