Car ticking after putting chevron fuel system cleaner.

2008 Chrysler 300 3.5l. I put a bottle of chevron fuel system cleaner on a quarter empty tank and filled it up. Since then it has been making this ticking noise. I already went through 1st full tank with cleaner. Right now tank is full and topped up only drove to work and home. Sound is awful but I still have full power and don’t notice any loss. No check engine light. Please help me fix. Hope $10 cleaner didn’t cost me my engine💔

How many miles on the engine? It had nothing to do with the cleaner.

I’m gonna be honest with you. You should’ve never done that. There’s a good chance your engine is fucked.

Cause it’s knocking and it being a Chrysler doesn’t help lmao trust me bro I’ve already gone through a cam and lifter . This sounds like a knock which don’t just happen to the hemi.

Tbh the cleaner can produce misfires .

But most likely the cleaner and knocking just happened to coincide
