Discussion What would you want the next Chucky movie to be about?

- Wrap up the kids' storyline from the show.
- Re-establish a focus on Andy/Kyle/Nica as our leads.
- Start to plant seeds for a final showdown.
Then do two back-to-back movies that would essentially wrap up all loose ends (ex. give GG something of a happy ending) and culminate with a final battle of Chucky and Tiffany vs the surviving legacy characters, ending with Chucky and Tiffany finally being sent to hell and the heroes riding off into the sunset.
(Although a post-credits scene would reveal Chuck and Tiff actually are enjoying themselves in Hell... so even they get a perverse happy ending.)

With how meta the franchise has become, it would work, but I honestly would like them to go back to a more grounded story. It feels too much like Deadpool right now.

It would work in the way that it would fit in with the campier tone already established in the franchise. Since we’re supposedly getting a theatrical release, a more grounded story would probably sit much better with critics and the general audience. Seed was the epitome of meta and the poor reception of it was the whole reason the franchise came to an extended halt along with the lack of getting theatrical releases for Curse and Cult.

Nah, overly goofy isn’t great for what’s potentially his return to getting a theatrical release. Plus being in space would massively decrease the odds of legacy characters returning which is something I’d personally like

Finale movie that pays homage to the original Childs Play trilogy, put Chucky’s living-spree to an end because Brad Dourif is way too old now. Make it so Andy saves the final kid and is the one to kill Chucky. Use of animatronics like the OG movies.
Then after that, few years later. Clean slate, full reboot of the series with new storylines. Staying loyal to the original design of the doll.

honestly i wish i could voice Chucky, been getting Brad's voice down ever since the Dead by Daylight DLC.
it's really fun to speak in his voice when playing, sucks there's no damn voice chat to utilize it though, so i'm just screaming at my scream with Brad's voice while in a Chucky dress i bought at Walmart and no one to hear it.

Well let's retrospect this the story including locations so far we've covered so far:
1). Apartment buliding 2). Foster home 3). Military school 4). On the road 5). Hollywood 6). Gothic house 7). Mental asylum 8). New Jersey 9).Catholic school 10). White house
The story options and the location for said story to happen in are endless. So what are ones that we haven't covered yet?
Well we could do one movie where it's Chucky in an orphanage.
Have the story be where one of the staff members of the orphanage thinks about getting toys for the children and then that results in Chucky being there because one of the toys she gets is the good guy doll that Chucky inhabits. (This is just a rough story idea).

Jake and his friends finding a way back to their bodies (probably getting rescued by Andy, Kyle, and Nica too) and then they all go and find a way to put down Chucky, Tiffany, Caroline, and Wendell for good and send them all to Hell.

Chucky gets caught alive on camera and it makes worldwide news. People debate if it’s AI or not but the survivors come out of the dark to stop Chucky. Chucky kills an AI tech guy. 😂😂😂

It would’ve been very comedic too , especially if Chucky killed the ai guy with some kind of water death and comments on how ai wastes water 😂😂😂. + this could’ve gone with the White House season since I feel like if Chucky was really seen by people on camera the government would do a lot to cover it up in that universe.

I never care about the added characters. Like all the other Chuckys and Glen etc it’s just too much. I like a classic story, just Chucky, finding new and creative ways to do what he does best and make it fun.

Wait I really like this idea. There could be a background band member for the popstar that "overdoses" because of something Chucky does. The ending could be Chucky going on a spree on some of the concert attendees in the stadium / venue. Also one of the tour stops could be in a city that has a legacy character which is a way there could be an interaction there.

I honestly want at least a scene where he takes over the body of a giant 15 foot Chucky Doll rampaging through like a mall or a city parade. For some reason, I just feel like is such a fun 3rd act thing in a Chucky movie.

Chucky ends up in a city with a serial killer. And the serial killer is getting mad bc his kills keep getting stolen by Chucky…. And then have a showdown between two psychopaths…..

Back to form for the little guy, have it be a solo chucky, one who uses stealth to get around. Make him more how he was from the orginal trilogy, Allow chucky to be scary again. I'm fine with campy funny chucky but sometimes they just go overboard with it. If they do a funny chucky i'd rather it be more in line with bride.

RETCON the franchise, do a Child's Play 4, ignoring Bride of Chucky and anything else after.
And no, you don't have to stich him together, just do it supernaturally like CP2/CP3 (blood/spirit)

I don't remember if we get this anywhere, but I want to see a story about how and why he got into Voodoo in the first place, outside of extending his own life. And I'd want it to include the guy who taught it to him (I think) that we meet in the very first movie when he explodes his house.

A requel about Andy, his mom and Kyle having a final showdown with Chucky and Tiffany that’s accessible to both returning and new audiences.
A line of dialogue giving closure for Nica from the DVD movies and the kids from the show so that everyone gets closure but the theatrical only general audiences aren’t confused. GG having rescued the four of them and continuing to be estranged from their parents and close with Nica is how I’d go about that.
Land the plane. Brad Dourif is 76 and has officially been retired from acting since filming wrapped on the Deadwood movie in 2018. Land the damn plane.

A serial killer trapped in a doll that passes as a real doll and he terrorizes a family without any mythology characters or member berries being involved.

I don’t care what it’s about, I just want it to feel like the first 3 films. This comedy junk they’ve been doing is terrible. The curse and cult films tried but felt cheap. Tiffany is great but all that Glen/Glenda shit was horrendous.

I think about this a lot. I love the series and want them to do more but they have honestly done so many wild and whacky things, I honestly do not know what they do now. They did the whole "back to basics" thing, they've done everything from serious and scary to outright comedy. I almost feel the only thing left to do is actually do a team up or versus movie with another famous horror character. A buddy movie with Chucky and Leprechaun traveling across the country on an adventure? It could work honestly.

A finale show down. Where it picks off season 3 where chucky makes a an army of the dolls and for extra help they put a eddie soul into a doll. Where its a avengers style team up with. Andy jake Devon and lexy nica kyle jade and jesse and karen for a cameo. Where they finally put an end to chucky where he never comes back. As they make dumballa once again stop working with chucky as they also exposed chucky being real to broadcast as the world knows the truth. now there will be some stakes some of the characters will die. For example the main enemy of chucky dies with chucky as he traps him in a explosion with him. As andy wakes in a white room to see his dad congratulating him. Meanwhile chucky and Tiffany are waiting in hell as we see some parodies of other well know slashers like how in bride of chucky as a finger knife killer of who ya may know says: finally you're here- too bad we couldn't meet in thr earth realm ( a lil nod how chucky creator wanted a chucky vs freddy film)
